Be sure to stop by the Daddy Nasty 1-2 6 max deep table. This isnt a brag, it will just be nice to have my own table now. I made it a deep one since no one had a 1-2 six max deep table of their own, so ship it for being first.

Yeah, today is the big day. I'm not going to lie though, it seems kind of anti climatic though. I mean I have always not been able to wait to be 21, and now its here, and it just feels like a tuesday. OH WELL, tonight I'm going to consumate this ***** none the less.

poker: So I had to basically take the week off due to being behind like a ***** in school. I'm going to allow my challenge to carry over into July. I feel like I will really be able to put in the hours then.

pray that I come home alive tonight, that is all

Yes im still attempting this dumb challenge. I had to take a few days off to go home for my lil sis' graduation and I came back today determined to crush this limit.

I had been loading up 16 tables and just auto piloting, but upon reviewing my game, my auto pilot had some kinks in it and I committed myself to fixing them. I watched some low stakes nl vids and went down to six tables and proceded to win at 50bb/100 for 2500 hands today. This isnt really a brag, its just more of a sigh of relief because I had literally broken even over 20k hands for the first 7 days of the month.

My thanks to probability for referring me to holdem manager, PT was killing me. I had no clue HEM was even out there. Anyways I will complete my challenge on HEM, I cant prove that what I did for the first 7 days but I dont really have a reason to lie about my results since there is no cash riding on whether or not I make it. Anyway, I had made 1 bi from playing and 7 from rakeback until today. I will continue to update now that I have a reliable database that doesnt miss every five hands. The graph should be posted below, I in now way expect to run the way I did, but I feel like I sort of earned most of the pots, a few played themself.

21 BI's down, 104 to go lol

So things have finally started going well. My game was waaaaaayyyy tooo loose for the 50 nl games and since 50 bucks is basically a C bet or second barrell in 400nl games I guess I just got too frisky with this guys calling down way too light. The graph im posting will def show that in the spots that look like a roller coaster drop lol.

However, I made the adjustments to my game and have made about 8 1/2 bi's of my goal to make 125. I think this goal is definately reachable. And yes i'm going to count rakeback because I can and im cool like that. So with rakeback im about 10 bi's up. I'm really glad i'm doing this because instead of moving up like I had planned to do and getting the big head and what not, this is really helping me erase leaks in my game and to be honest im enjoying the low stress level.

yeah so i now at the beginning of every month everyone puts up their cliche goals, hopes, dreams, etc..

so here's mine lol

I have been grinding so hard the last couple of months and I really feel like I'm ready and bankrolled to move up to bigger games such as 600nl and 1000nl. However, in order to keep my ego in check and since I have a tough summer school schedule that starts tomorrow for the Baylor business school I want to do something different.

In stead of moving up im going to move down to 50nl and attempt to make 125 bi's this month there. I feel like its doable and it should be fun none the less. Ill do daily updates and what not. I havent seriously played 50nl in a while so if anyone has any tips about the general game flow and the regs that play it please give me a heads up.

I have had so much trouble with PT 3 i got pissed and repurchased pt2 and the old pahud today. They seem to work better with my comp for whatever reasons. Thus I cant give an exact may results display but by eyeballing my bankroll it looks like I made like 7k+ at 200nl and 400nl. Could have been better/ worse so its like meh to me.

Anyways gl to me this month and gl to all of you.

ps I turn 21 on the 17th, whos buying the drinks?

So I fired up 4 tables of 1000nl tonight just to get a little more used to the games, as I have heard they are insanely aggro. I immediately am able to post on three of the tables and have a wait a whole orbit on the fourth. I dont have the hand histories b/c pt3 has me on life ****ing tilt at he moment.

Here are the three hands on the three diff tables, and keep in mind this is all at the same time.

Table 1) I'm dealt AQs in the BB. Cut off raises it and I make it 120 to go, he CC. Flop AQ5. I bet he three bets I shove he shows AA obv.

Table 2) I'm dealt AKs in the BB. Cut off raises, button makes it 120 to go and I cold 4bet to like 235 and button cold calls. Flop 7K8. I bet, he shoves, I snap call and get showed 78 off suit and he holds. I had never seen anyone CC a 4 bet with that and he was supposedly a solid reg...OH WELL

Table 3) I'm dealt 77 in the SB. First position limps, and the table procedes to limp around to me. The first hand above has already gone down so I elect not to raise due to being pissed. Flop 276. I OVERBET the 30 pot with a 70 bet and get snap called by the button. The pot is now 170 and I lead into him again from 250 on a K turn which is promptly follwed by a snap call. Turn is a nine and the flush draw that was on board missed so I shove and obv get snap called by 58 that had rivered the 9 high straight.

so before I get to post my blind on the fourth table I decide to call it quits. Even though seeing how everyone was playing nuts would warrant me wanting to stay in the game, im not ready to deal with the swings that the 5-10 game is going to throw at me.

This is not a devastating hit or anything I just got a little steamed that this all happened at the same time. Oh well, back to the boring grind.

peace

The following may or may not have any relevance to the reader but this is something ive been dealing a lot with in my poker game and I just wanted to get these thoughts down...

I have been playing Full Ring 200nl 3/4 of my time over April and May. I have divided the rest of my time b/w FR400nl and 200nl6max. That being said I started playing FR because I noticed that the games were much weaker and I wanted a few low variance months. I have been running so -so but I have still been crushing because I have the abilitly to hand read and outplay these guys after the flop. The thing that has been urking me though is the fact that you get coolered so damn much in FR. Coming from six max where this happens much less, it has really been eating away at me. By coolered I generally mean set over set 90% of the time and AA vs KK pre flop the other 10%. My big conclusion is that this is going to happen no matter how well I play. Its just too hard to put someone on the exact set that beats yours or when your vilian has AApf in the BB when you raise from the high jack with KK. Being as competitve as I am, its really hard for me to say that i'm just going to not worry about this, because If i could pick up some soul reading tip to fix this I would. For now im just going to get the money in, win the MAJORITY of the time and not worry about the coolers.

Like i said this is info that is probably unimportant to most but those who blog know that sometimes you just need to write something down.

A side note would be that if you havnt tried the FR games, do it.

One more thing, my Poker Tracker totally went out on me and I had to delete all my databases and re-download it. This annoyed the hell out of me losing all my stats/hands/graphs...oh well this is just a vent. I just had a lot of good **** saved, oh well.

have a good night

So last night I played a great 1500 hand session where I won 5 bi's at 200nl. I decided that it was good enough for one night and I went out to a local bar. Like 400 shots later somehow im back at my place with a bunch of ppl and they start asking what the two 24.5in monitors are about. I promptly brag about my current situation and how many tables I play (I dont remember a lot of this). Everyone at my place says there is no way that I can play 16 tables so lord knows I had to prove them wrong. I dont remember any of the hands, I just know that I lost like 1400 and from the looks of it I made some call downs with A high for 100bbs . To be honest I thought it was kind of funny after waking up and peicing the night together and then looking at my PT. Anyway I had a great night tonight booking a 2.1k win after playing a ton of hands. Ive decided I want to have my own table on FT so i'm trying to earn as many bonus medals as I can until the end of may.

Just for the record... If anyone sees me playing 16tables later than 3am please check and see if im sober lol...i'm going to miss college.

I'll post this one hand from tonight that really kicked off the session well. I would like some input on it. I feel like I pretty much got max value out of it, being the cooler that it was, however I'm wondering if he would have called a shove instead of the big value bet I made on the river..
