Haven't got a whole lot to say about february since it's been a pretty boring month for me, half of which I've been busy with random life-related shiet...Too boring stuff to get into...

I played very little - about 10k hands which is mostly due to the fact that I am a big nit when it comes to playing stuck.
I usually take a break/quit when I'm down 3-4 BI which one can def argue that it is pretty nitty but as an overall gameplan it suits me pretty well since after I get stuck more than that I basically let my lets call him "dark-evil-twin" take control and he's for sure no solid player

So a lot of sessions/days went like that - me losing a few BI and quitting b/c of tilt.

Got coolered quite a bit but played pretty poorly too, just havent felt the call to the tables let's say...
All in all I won a few BI so far but I'm def pretty frustrated with my play.

Tilt is a pretty big issue in my game and I def need to adress that for obv reasons.
I we'd play our A-game 90% say we'd prob doubling or tripling our winrate. Hell, it could easily be much bigger than that!
Just when I think about that and I realise how much EV we give up when we don't play our A-game, playing drunk, playing while focusing on other stuff or w/e...
A small betsizing error is jack shiet compared to when you monkey-shove pf with less than ideal holdings or when you do stupid spite-calls or when you 4bet half the time you get 3bet....

Anyways rant over, I'm gonna look to be playing quite a bit in march, need ~65k hands to reach the palladium status and if becoming a walking-zombie with a coffee-mug in one hand and a cigarrette in the other is needed - so be it

Other than that I've gotten to watch quite a few new shows - def recommend Californication really cool show not much else to say, The league is also pretty awesome, saw sherlock and it's pretty good too imo.

Pretty meh month overall, hopefully march will be an improvement...

Thought I'd post a quick update on how january went.

Going by the a picture speaks a thousand words here's my jan graph



95% of it is 50nl and 5% some 100NL

Quite an annoying month obv, 14BI under EV and didnt run that great range-wise either.
Luckly I got on a semi-heater midmonth and ended up having a pretty decent winrate overall.

I estimate spewing around 20 stacks though, so like 100BBs per 1k hands which is a lot.
I get back some of it obv since it's not like I've put a stack in with 0 eq everytime but it def bothers me when I have these brainfarts spews during a session.

Those are basically the stupid calldowns/spewy bluffs which can really fuck up with your winrate.
Those moments when you click call and then ask yourself why the fuck did you call there? And then not being able to come up with a reasonable argument for it is unacceptable imo.

Def working on that, trying to play much more solid poker in feb.

Fixed the redline problem, last year I lost a lot w/o showdown, almost like 1BI/1k hands which is def waaaay to much.
Basically I started 3barreling more, DB much more and generally being much more aggro in pots I do enter.

Volume-wise I didnt play as much as I wanted to which tilts me quite a bit but had some school-shit and some other life random boring stuff to take care of so I can't fault myself too much I guess...

As far as the games go, uSNL and SSNL games seem really soft even on party games are very very good and ongame games are even better.
A lot of regs are pretty terrible and fish... well fishes gonna be fishes I guess but a lot of people seem to be super clueless about the game which is obv great

As far as goals for feb, I'm gonna try to play at least 30K hands, though I am aiming more for like 40-50k.
We'll see how that goes...

Hey guys!

Dunno how good I am gonna be at blogging but decided to give it a try.

It's probably gonna be a lot of ramblings about different things mixed in with poker, TV shows, movies and whatnot so hopefully I can make this blog at least semi-interesting.

First off a little bit about myself, I am in my early 20s and on course of getting my bachelors degree in marketing which should happen this summer.
I "discovered" poker through sports-betting around 4 years ago and have been playing mostly SSNL 6max and a bit of HU.

I've been a leggo member almost since the site was up, def learned a ton from leggo, got some coaching through leggo too.

Also played live 1/2 - 2/4 for ~1 year but as most online grinders coming to live poker I've found it to be a pretty tedious and annoying experience overall.

Right now I play mostly 50NL mixed in with some 100NL, trying to build up my roll to make 100NL my main game.



These are all the hands in my last database @ 50NL.
Obv some serious issues with my redline, trying to remedy that.

Pretty happy with this winrate esp since I've tilted/spewed much more than I should have.
IMO a solid reg can def do 4-5PTBBs at SSNL even in todays games with good table selection and good tilt control.

This month is gonna be grindtime for me, trying to put in 40K quality hands (mostly 6-9 tabling).


A little bit about 2011 - it has been a pretty interesting year for me - went to Belgium in the spring then decided to see the Danube Delta in the summer (def recommend seeing the delta esp if u into fishing and boat rides ).

Finished the year by going to Amsterdam for new years, spent 1 week there with a bunch of friends and had a blast. Amsterdam is an amazing city all around def looking to go back in the spring/summer.

Pokerwise 2011 has been a decent year though I am very dissapointed with my volume, should have played at least 3 times as many hands. Hence one of my main poker goals for 2012 is putting in the hours, I'm targeting at least 500K hands for this year.

Today I played my first session for this year, ended up down a BI, def felt rusty at the tables.
It's pretty weird how even after a short break from poker you have to play a few ses to get back "in the zone".
