Hey its been a while since my last blog post but the poker bug has bitten me again! I havent really played much this month but I'm gonna post my daily results here for the rest of the month to motivate myself or face embarrassment(sp) for my lack of volume (stole this idea from another blog, youre a genius, maybe). Anyway I'm gonna try to start 6 tabling all the time now starting out at 100nl for the rest of the month to hopefully get used to it, then switch back to 200nl starting next month (i was 4 tabling).

Whats up! keeping it simple

March: I wasnt neccessarily (sp?) upset with my results this month, but my lack of volume. I just didnt want to play, and I dont know why! I think I know that I should be moving up but I get anxiety about it and just stay happy and chill/cruise where I'm at. I was +2kish between tourneys and plo for the month too, and -900 at 400nl.

SCOOP: I basically put 2k into a "scoop" bankroll, and I can spend it on whatever scoop tourneys I want. I also add any winnings from these tourneys to the bankroll. Yesterday I played the 5r/55r, had huge stacks in both, then got doomswitched on. But I dont care, I have so much fun in deepstacked/well structured tournaments. I was in complete control of every table and its a great feeling, I know one day i'll bust through and win one. So now my scoop bankroll = 2150. I'm gonnna take today off (hate turbo tournaments), and play the low/medium plo1r1a tourneys saturday.

April goals:

1. Play more. at least 80 hours this month.

2. Maybe learn to play more tables, but I really just dont think I possess that skill.

3. Move up to 400nl, simple, just gotta quit being a *****.

Life stuff: Last couple days I've just been watching college games at different friend's places, I've been tearing it up in my brackets so far but that really means nothing right now. But I am the only decent looking bracket that picked Pitt to win it all so I'll be sweating them all the way.

I started working out again last week and hopefully writing about it will help me stick with it for the rest of my life this time. I really want to be one of those people that stays looking healthy their whole life.


Poker stuff: I currently play 200nl(12bb/100 since I started in january, but I can only 4-6 table :| i know! i suck at multitasking! ) with some fun tourneys to try and force cash volume on the side. Took another shot at 400nl yesterday, lost 2.5 bi but I was still happy at the end of the session. It seems to have a lot of the same regulars as 200nl who I am very comfortable with their games, and feel +ev against, a long with the same mixtures of fish and awesome shortstackers. My plan for the weekend/march is to play more and put a lot of the profit (hopefully) towards as many SCOOP events as I can.
