So yeah, I suppose I am just going to disregard my previous post! I started out with good intentions of actually doing this. Then I played pretty much no online poker for a few weeks. Soon after posting my previous blog I had to move to Dublin for work, I will be up here until mid September until I go back to college. A mixture of having no internet and then my laptop breaking meant I wasn't playing many hands. I was still playing a nice bit of live poker fairly successfully. Playing 1/2 live and winning I think completely destroyed my motivation for the 'challenge'. I found myself playing very poorly when putting half your stack in the pot meant 2 dollars which I know probably wasn't a great mindset!.
After going on a nice heater live I had some money that I could afford to gamble with. I have decided to stay away from full tilt and stars for a while. I have a nice first deposit bonus now to clear on an IPoker skin. I am still going to stick to the bank roll management fundamentals while I try to build a nice roll over the summer. I'm currently playing 20NL and a few mtts max $10. I know I am definitely able to beat this level. Looking at the player pool it seems really soft on ipoker at these limits. A main aim of mine is to make proper use of hold em manager to improve my game.
I think Probability and Vitas deserve a lot of credit for the growing micro stakes community on here. They clearly have a lot of passion for it and always have new good ideas. Hopefully their new idea of the cheaper coaching gets going. It is definitely something I would consider and would be very beneficial to a lot of players.
