I can't write much now, mostly because of today is the 3rd day of my birthday celebration lol =)), today's party will be the last of those, and eventually the biggest.. ****.. I can't drink that much, cause I mostly live a sober life, spare a lot of time to keep myself fit, do a lot of sports and stuff..
Ok. Now about October.. I can't make precise calculation, but I'd guess I made around 15k, started winning a bit at 1/2 and ended up losing 3k in 30 hands to a fish at 5/10 at one of my last sessions =). I didn't play much this month and thus I'm happy with my results, probably a little bit more than with my game, but I'm on the right route..
A few days ago I've cashed out more than half of my roll to buy a car. I know it might be a little bit stupid considering the fact, that I haven't got driver lisence yet ), but it was perfect timing to do this because of super unstable situation around UAH/USD exchange rate.
****, i can't write even a word more..

Not much to say, first I lost "a little bit" to semi-fish as I first thought, and who turned to be NL5k reg ((. And then got absolutely owned by 100% fish shortstack hit-n-runner, but he quit playing me only after he had won 4 stacks (( that took about 10 minutes( ).
**** **** ****, probably I shouldn't play NL1k for a while, instead play some donkaments, watch sports, listen to music and relax..
I'm calm, I'm good, I know when to stop. At last it is not the end of the world..

Today was probably the first day of me playing HU, playing semi-good and loosing a lot. I Dropped more than 2k very fast, almost everything to the same fish, who was insanely bad, but calling my 3bets empty and flopping trips/straights/etc. strategy worked nice.. Then I got slight tilt and went 4tabling different opponents, which was a very bad thing, and I shall not ever do it ever again. In some time I got little lucky and won smth. back, but fish just flew away after loosing another pot. What a pity (.
To tell you the truth before today I felt really good about this month and predicted 20k+ winnings, now I'm not so confident, but I'll do my best to stay in a good shape.
I just wrote here a very long article deserving some huge prize, but deleted it cause it seemed boring =), the main thought was that the reason why people play more when they're loosing and less while winning lies little deeper that average poker player thinking level is. And the main reason is the "amount" of happienes gained or lost during session ), but thats a long story..
Wow, and now the main news =), today was my second practical lesson at driving school where I drove through city traffic at 80km/h. Not that much exciting as I thought it should be, mostly because of my "teacher" who seems to be a total jerk and I laughed out loud at him almost all the way =). I will get driver license in December, and I haven't decided yet should I buy a car before or after winter..

October is going well, again not great, but good, maybe little over expectation, I'm playing 2/4 primarily with occational 3/6 shots, but there I play only super fish, as I'm a bit underroled for it, and also sometimes i drop down to 1/2 if there are good games and no action at 2/4. But today I played awfuly.. I paid everything to everyone, i call instashove in a 4bet pot against fish with AK high on super dry flop, I call turn 3 bet and river bet on very scary board with mid2pair, and whole lot of other pretty dumb things.
Still I feel quite fine with how I play, and I'm happy that in the start of September I've deposited 1k to play HU NL100, and now I play 2/4 and show profit. Sure I need to play at least 5times more than I already did to define my true winrate, but I'm confident with my game because I play only when I feel that I have a big edge over my opponent, or when I'm tilted or low and can't define that I actually play worse =)..
As for my big goal for this blog(beat NL2k HU) I think that I'll get there before summer 2009. I have thought over my "plan" to move up when I'll beat everyone and become best at my current stakes, and I realised that all poker is about is money, if there's a good game at higher stakes and you want to play it, it's a bit stupid to tell yourself "oh, no... i can't go there and take this guys money, cause I'm not still positive if I could beat every reg at my stakes..". So if anyone wants to push-fold pre for 100bb stacks at NL5k, PM me, I'm all yours and I'm ready =).

Helloooo ), the main news today won't be how much I've won and how much I plan to win, main news is that yesterday I've bought a new guitar, Fender ‘60s Custom Telecaster . Here's a picture:
It sounds like a dream, lookes a dream and now the only thing left to become the best guitarist in the universe is 6th finger )). Today I played with short teabreakes for about 4hours, hope my neighbours weren't at their flats ).
Since everyone's writing about their September results, October goals etc., so I'll aslo made a short statement about it. September was near +7.5k, i lost about 1.5k the next day after I posted a graph ). In October I'll be shortstacking FR tables at PS and fishing HU at Ongame.
I wanted to make 15k maraphon at October, but after some consideration I came to thought that it is not +EV, and it's not that much fun. I mean if everything will be going well I'll make this 15k without any superbig effort, but if I'll start to run bad or play bad, or anything I'll feel committed to play, and I'll have to play more, and it doesn't nessesery mean I'll win more ), my loses will tilt me more and so on..
So it'd be for sure nice to make 15k in October, but I won't feel bad or anything if my profit will be less than that.

September's almost over, and I think I should share my results, which are maybe not the greatest, but definetly good, since I haven't played HU before this, and my 6max background was very very thin. Overall result is a little bit lower because of some untracked hands from my notebook.
Acually the thing I don't like is the red line or non-showdown winnings, but I think it goes down bacause I play fish and only fish, and most of my bets are for value, and it's very hard to make those guys fold if they've got any pair... Also a few days ago I've deposited some money to Cake poker, and at the first look I've found their software to be very strange, but after few hundred of hands I got used to it. |

I wanted and almost wrote a big post about me, loosing a lot of money to different donks, but i deleted it. There's hardly any point in this. But I really need some ****ing discipline, arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, **** it.
huh... from now on, no more emotions at the table, no more chatting with fish, they are not human beings, they're just a money making machine. and if i'll lose 1,2,3,4,5 whatever much BI to anyone, I won't get angry or low when they leave. it is ok, and it's just a part of the game. In order to succeed you have to fail.
