Dear readers,
I have a problem and I would like your help. Indeed, when I was a student, I wanted to learn three foreign languages which were English/Spain and Chinese but considering that I got a sickness, I was not able to pursue my studies and I do not have any major diploma. I have been looking for a job for about 2½ years but I still did not find anything.
I really would like to move to an English-speaking country such as England/United-States or Canada but I do not really know how I should proceed. Actually, I would like to study again but I am not rich enough and it costs about 10K$ so I can forget this idea.
I had in the idea to move to one of these three countries and get housed and work as an au-pair. I would like to know if someone did that in the past and could eventually help me, I would really appreciate it.
Should I contact the embassy of each country or is there another to get some information?
I guess I said enough about my problem but if you have more questions (or maybe the answer?) feel free to contact me by private message or Skype/AIM.
Skype: GodBlessMaliSunSeT
AIM: GodBlessMali
You can contact me on MSN as well but I will not show it in public.
Kind regards,
DrakaZ

Champions League
Hello dear readers,
I do not know if there are a lot of people who follow the European football scene but I decided to make a blog about the four teams that reached the Semi-finals of the Champions League, the most prestigious competition in Europe.
It is very rare to get four teams from four different countries in the semi-finals of the Champions League, that is why I wanted to emphasize it. It is even rarer to see a French team in the semi finals of this competition. If I am right, the last time we saw a French team in the semi finals, it was AS Monaco in 2004 where they won against Chelsea 5 to 3 (Total score) but they unfortunately lost to FC Porto in final 3 to 0.
So the four teams that will compete in the Semi-finals are Barcelona (Spain), Internazionale (Italy), Bayern Munich (Germany) and Lyon (France). It is very surprising to not see an English club in the semi-finals such as Manchester-United or Chelsea. It is even shocking to not see Arsenal after their good season.
1) Barcelona
After a fantastic season in 2008-2009 having won the Copa del Rey, Liga and the Champions League, Barcelona cannot do as good in 2009-2010. Nonetheless, they are in Semi-finals of the Champions League where they are the favorite to win the title after the elimination of the other top teams such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Gerard Piqué, Carles Puyol, Dani Alves, Andres Iniesta, Xavi and of course Lionel Messi are without any doubt the strength of this team and it is hard for other teams to face them when you have such great talents combined into one team.
They easily won against Stuttgart in 1/8 and I must admit it was almost as easy against Arsenal in the Quarter-finals. Nonetheless, I still think that Arsenal should have won if they would have got all their players such as William Gallas, Andrei Arshavin, Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie. But well, you know what we say: with “if” we can remake the world. I just find it sad that Arsenal lost the second match with a “B” team.
For their next match, Barcelona will face Internazionale.
2) Internazionale
I must admit that I do not like at all Italian football but I also must admit that Internazionale did well in the Champions League even if I keep thinking that they should not have won their match against Chelsea in 1/8. It was just so unfair but well, it is football ^ ^
It seems that Mourinho does well in every club, no matter where he goes to. He won the Champions League with FC Porto, he did very well with Chelsea and now he does extremely well with Internazionale. I really do not know what is his secret but he does his job perfectly. He was often criticized when he was in Chelsea because he had the support of a billionaire but it is not the case with his current team. In quarter-finals, they really a got a favorable draw as they met the Russian team, CSKA Moskova. And it seems that they got a hard time to beat them so I doubt they will have a chance to beat Barcelona. Nonetheless, they have a strong team and I think that they will lose the first match and easily win the second match if they adopt the right strategy.
In my opinion, the right strategy is to allow Marco Materazzi to play the first match and break both Messi’s legs since he is an expert in this area. If he can do it, then Inter has their chance to win against Barcelona in the second match, otherwise, I doubt they will despite they have talented and experienced players such as Cristian Chivu, Lucio, Marco Tacklerazzi, Wesley Sneijder and of course, the old Barcelona player, Samuel Eto’o.
3) Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich was such a very strong team in the past and I have a lot of great souvenirs with them in the Champions League. They were really a top team with such strong players but I feel that now, they are at another level, not enough good to compete with the best teams.
I remember that they had such great players in the past such as Michaël Ballack, Stefan Effenberg, Dietmar Hammann, Carsten Jancker, Oliver Kahn, Jürgen Klinsmann, Bixente Lizarazu, Willy Sagnol, Claudio Pizarro etc … Now, I feel like the players are good but not as good as those I named except Franck Ribéry, Philip Lahm, Arjen Robben and Miroslav Klose. I even wonder how they can win important matches when you have Hans Jörg Butt as goalkeeper. In my opinion, he has 2 left hands/feets.
They met a good but not impressive team in 1/8 and they logically won over Fiorentina and in Quarter-final, I really think they got lucky to win against Manchester United. The first match was fine even if I think that Manchester United was better and the second match was really a big joke. Manchester totally owned them during the first half and but this idiot called Rafael made a terrible foul whereas he already had a yellow card. So they played the second half with 10 players only and sir Alex Ferguson had to change his strategy and they totally got owned. For the second match, I do not really understand why Berbatov did not start it as well as Park that I do not really like but who is important.
They will meet the French team in the Semi-finals and I think they will have some troubles if they underestimate them.
4) Lyon
Lyon is the last team that qualified for the Semi-finals after their victory to another French team, Bordeaux. It is the first time that Lyon reaches the Semi-finals and they meet a team that they can beat.
After the departure of Karim Benzema to Real Madrid, I really did not think that Lyon would have done that well. Nonetheless, they have a great goalkeeper who saved the team more than once. In the 1/8, they did a very good performance against Real Madrid that played awfully in the first match and that did great in the first half of the second game. Nonetheless, Lyon was really better and they proved us that they do not need that many stars to win against top team. Lyon often failed in Quarter-finals the previous seasons but it seems that they will do well this year. In Quarter-finals, they faced a French team called Bordeaux that they “easily” won despite their defeat in the second match.
I think that they will be able to win against Bayern Munich if they can handle the pressure. They have very good players such as Hugo Lloris (who really is THE key of the team), Cris, César Delgado, Kim Källström (who is often conclusive), Jérémy Toulalan, Bafetimbi Gomis, Sidney Govou and Lisandro Lopez.
So in my opinion, if they do not put themselves the pressure, I think that they have a chance to win against Bayern Munich and go through the final.
Barcelona – Internazionale -> 5 – 2 overall
Lyon – Bayern Munich -> 3 – 2 overall
So in my opinion, the final will be played between Barcelona and Lyon with a 3/0 score for Barcelona.
What is your opinion about these matches? Feel free to discuss about it =]

Real Life - Video games and Poker
Hello everyone,
I would like to make a small update about my life in general and Poker. I know that my blogs are not very interesting because of the language barrier so I try to make it interesting with the subjects I choose.
Real life:
I do not have much to say about my life because I am pretty ashamed of it and I don’t really know what to think to be honest. When I was 14, I was normal person; I was a serious student (I was not a hotshot but I was not a dunce either), I was a very good sportsman and here is the list of the sports I used to do:
Football - I started football when I was 6 after watching a few matches with Roberto Carlos that I am a real fan of. It is thanks to him if I started football as well as Real Madrid. I used to love them in the past because they did not have that many stars, they were just a standard team with a lot of potential but then this team became more and more ridiculous in 2001-2002.
I was not that good in football but I still achieved a few good things in my “career” than I am proud of.
Badminton – I started Badminton thanks to my school. I enjoyed playing it because it was so intense and because I was lonely on the fiend so I could not whine towards the other people like I used to do in football. So if I was doing a mistake during a match, it was my own fault. After breaking 7 rackets (About 100 euros each) I started to be calmer and it helped me much in the future.
Swimmer – I was not in a club but every Friday, I was going to the swimming-pool with my father and I was usually swimming about 1.5/2 km (About 0.9-1.2 mile if I am not mistaken).
Biker – I was in a club so it was not a competitive one. I was riding a bike every Sunday.
Mountain-climber – I was in a club but I was climbing only during summer in the Alpes where I was mainly doing Via-Ferrata. For those who do not know what Via-Ferrata is, it is a “mix” between hiking and climb.
Kayak – I was only a kayaker when I was going to the Alpes as well.
I think that I enumerated all sports that I practiced. When I was 14, I was also enjoying hanging out with friends as well, playing video games on console etc … So as you can see, I was a normal person at that age.
But then, I started to have health problems when I passed my first important examen at school. It is during that examen that I started to stress a lot. Nonetheless, at that time, it was not very serious and I thought that it was normal so I did not really care about my health yet. Then I switched to high-school and it was the start of all my problems … A lot of things have changed, I was not in the same class than my other friends so I was “alone” in my class and it was hard for me to get new friends because I considered they were different than my other friends. The teachers were a lot stricter, the way of learning was really so different and I had a hard time to do my homework because I was coming back to home very late and I was going to sleep in late as well so I must admit that I missed a few days because I was really tired and my eyes were “red”. After a few months, I started to get my stress back and it was very painful so I started to miss classes more and more and when I was coming back to school, I had to make up for lost time. I was getting more and more sick and my old friends preferred to abandon me than helping me so it did not really help me. After a while, my parents were really worried and my mother really helped me a lot. I saw a lot of doctors, I was often at hospital, got some surgical operations but nobody found what I had, it is later one that they thought about my stress. After 3½ years, having gone in two different high schools, I got kicked out and I had to stop studying thing that I got a hard time to admit. After this “experience”, my personality really changed, I used to be a bit arrogant and I did not really care that much others, I thought that I was more “important” than them but then it was the contrary, I was the one being alone and I really started to have a “heart”. Since I did not have any diploma, it was very difficult to find a job and I was very sad about that because I was planning to study well and try to become an interpreter (I actually wanted to talk English/Spanish and Chinese). So it was very difficult for me to see that I had to fight to find a job where I would not earn much. After 2 years without finding a job, I started to give up. When I had a talk for a job, whether I was lying about my sickness and they were telling me that they did not want a person who has not any major diploma and they thought I was a lazy guy or whether I was telling them the truth and they did not want to hire me because they thought I would be sick again in the future and they did not want to take this risk. So now I am without a job but I still have the same dream. I still would like to move from France to an English-speaking country and be housed by a family and do something called “au pair” if you know what I mean. I would like to get housed for free and in exchange I do help them for some tasks. My cousin did it in the US and it went very well. I also would like to work in a bar or something like that so I could pay the family for their kindness but well it seems that it will not happen soon ^ ^ I was planning to play Poker to pay me this trip and finally start a new live again but as you may know, there is a new law in France about online-poker so I will not be able to play Poker again (at least in France). The funny thing is that I am sure at 100% that I could do well in Poker, I do not say that I could reach the 1KNL, but at least 600NL. Maybe it would take me more time than others but I would achieve it.
I think I said enough about my real life, I have more to say but well, it would take a few more pages ^ ^
Video games:
When I was younger, I was a huge video games fan. I got my first console when I was 8 if I am right, it was Nintendo and I remember that I only had a few games that I was really enjoying to play. When I turned 10, I had my first (and last) communion and I received a Playstation with two games, Gran Turismo (Surely my favourite car game with Need For Speed) and Tomb Raider II (I got them all and I really enjoyed them, my favourite was Tomb Raider III). Gran Turismo is a game I played a lot, I really loved this game and I even remember the first car I bought when I had enough money, it was this blue Subaru ^ ^ and then Mitsubishi I also enjoyed driving with the yellow concept car but one of my faovurite car was the Bristol one, I cannot exactly remember the name. God I really miss this game. On console, I also really loved games such as “Metal Gear Solid” which is the most interesting game I played and I am sad that I did not buy the Playstation III. “Metal Gear Solid – Snake Eater” was a great game but I finished it too fast, about 2 days. The first Metal Gear was awesome as well but I got a hard time to get all the keys, there was always one that I could not find ^ ^
Another game I enjoyed a lot was Soccom where you needed to use your microphone to give orders to your team.
I will not talk about Fifa, Need For Speed, Driver and Worms? (=D) which are games that most of you surely know. I used to have a lot of fun with worms ^ ^

Hello dear readers,
As you can see in the title of this thread, it is really a sad day for France. Indeed, yesterday was voted a new law about Online Poker as well as sport betting. In 2 months, French players will only be able to play Online Poker only against other French people which terribly sucks. I don't know everything about this law but apparently, the room will have to play at will take all the rake etc ...
I guess some of you heard about this law =( It means that I won't be able to play Poker anymore except if I move to another country (Thing I would like to do since 2 years ^^)
If you want to discuss about it, feel free to do it.
