After the disappointing Saturday, I took Sunday off and had a BBQ at my brother in laws house for mother's day.

The tables at 100NL seemed extra soft today. That and running hot got me 6 buy-ins, so not a bad day.

I'm going to start using my blog to track my progress, taking shots every 40-50 buy-ins depending on the stakes.

My goal is to be a regular 1000NL 6 max/HU player by the end of the year, and also to play 30k hands a month consistently.

My previous 100NL shot didn't go so well, but May is going smoothly, so 100NL is now my new home.

I'll start with how I got started in poker.

About 3 years ago I played in a few home games, barely knowing the rules of Holdem. Then one day I saw the WPT on T.V, and after seeing a commercial for Tiger online poker gaming spammed over and over during commercial break, I decided to check it out.

After goofing around some with play money, I was hooked. Soon after, I found 2+2 and ordered a bunch of books on Limit poker.

After reading all the books, I bonus whored all the sites and built a bankroll of 2k. I started working my way up in Limit, and ended up making a decent living propping for a site at the 10/20 limit level.

Then the poker legislation hit, and the limit games dried up on the site I was propping for. During this time, I left poker for a year. Now I'm back, and I am trying to rebuild my bankroll starting at the 50NL level.

My year so far started in late February, quite mediocre, I have trouble getting hands in, and I'm still learning.
