Starting to get everything on the go as far as poker and working out goes.. Trying to prepare for the tough battles I am going to face not only playing poker but as for my new workout plan and diet. For someone like myself who can eat junk food for 3 meals a day it is going to kill me to eat healthy. I guess once I come to the realization that food is not to be enjoyed and loved and only used to fuel your body. In order to fuel this under oiled machine that is my body I need to make some serious changes.

I was recently doing some research on diets to follow and supplements and all that good stuff to stay in half decent shape and I plan on starting (and actually finishing this time) my P90X that I purchased last year. I am not in bad bad shape but the worst shape I ever been in my life so hopefully I can build some muscle and endurance to keep my heart beating.

Thanks alot to bpran for telling me about another piece of tracking software that is going to be coming out really soon and looks like a very interesting program. Maybe Santa will bring it to me if I have been good for Christmas.

As far as poker goes I am currently just hanging around on the forums offering my two cents on hands to the other Leggo members. I enjoy offering my advice and hearing different opinions from others. I love people telling me my thinking is wrong and I need to change something because it makes me re-evaluate just about everything and keeps me interested. I also plan on studying some new games as well to keep me going.

So I guess as far as New Years Resolutions go I would have to say a rough idea of a few:

-Finish my P90X workouts without missing a day of exercises and follow the meal plan 100%
-Log as many hours playing 6max as I can and hopefully show a profit.
-Not lose track of my life outside of poker and enjoy things that are more important then playing.
-Try to remain tilt free and stop being results oriented
-Use proper bankroll management and try not to take too many shots
-Give up the fantasy that if I just throw 1 more $250 deposit and play the 750K guarantee because I think I can cash deep and win the WSOP main event (oh how it would be nice though)
-Try to keep up as far as posting on my blog and keeping active in the forums

If anyone would like to know about my workouts or anything in general just comment on the blog or send me a PM.

After a long long hiatus from actually taking poker seriously I am finally back and ready to start all over again. I just bought a brand new imac for myself and a nice nice leather chair (comfort is everything). 21 1/2" monitor with 1920x1080 resolution will give me plenty of space to play 4-6 tables of 25NL. I am seriously on the fence whether to start at 25NL or 50NL. I decided to play 25 due to the fact that I shouldn't have too much trouble beating it after clearing my head and being emotionally and mentally prepared to take this serious. Was seriously going to consider throwing in the odd MTT here and there but decided to just stick to 6max for the time being. Since I am on a Mac I have downloaded Poker Co-Pilot for keeping track of how I'm doing. I am very impressed with the program thus far from just messing around with it. I prefer cash as well due to my busy schedule and the fact that I am gonna try to keep a balanced life for the most part as far as poker goes.

I have been doing alot of video watching/reading in the forums and I am very confident in my game so far. I am looking to be logging quite a few hands a month. Due to the fact that I have a full time job it won't be easy as other people but we shall see how well it goes.

Also to keep myself in half decent shape I am following my P90x program which is a great exercise program to keep yourself in good physical shape. It is hard to stay active when your trying to avoid posture issues and focus issues. I find working out clears my head and keeps me tilt/stress free for the most part. I guess being healthy is also another important reason but I still eat like shit. Hopefully in the new year my diet will change.

Gonna be keeping updates with how well I am doing and also how my workout plans are going to keep me motivated. Hopefully all goes well..
