I need some major psychological reform to my poker game. For the past 3 years, I would make put money in my FT account and go on some nice runs. However, I would continue to move up in limits because of the combination of believing i could compete at that level and for the thrill of it. Nowadays, (Not moving up in limits) My bankroll tends stabilize at a certain amount. I don't really see a difference in my play whatsoever, yet, it just seems to stop growing. I am more profitable playing .25/.5 than .10/.25 because the buy in for .25/.5 is actually significant to my bankroll. Whereas, I spew off money at lower levels because it's a little amount of money. The problem: I play at stakes that can make an impact on my account that satisfies my needs. For example, If i have 2500 in my account and I am still playing .25/.5, I play extremely aggressive because I have the means to do so. I also make certain plays that are questionable because I feel something. ex) http://www.pokerhand.org/?5455165 . I am on another run at the moment with my bankroll, and seem to be crushing .25/.5. I don't want to fudge up this just like the rest of the runs I go on. Does anybody have any tips of practices that I can do to help my bankroll management. I guess I need to find a limit that is semi-correctly proportional in relation to my bankroll and where my skill is better than others?

Also, Does anybody know why games are so much softer at certain times of the day than others?

I am beginning to get very stressed on deciding on a major. I am finishing up my freshman year at Mizzou, and leaning towards something psychology or business or a combination. Possibly sports psychology or physical training. If anybody has any input on these, I would love to hear it. Thanks.

First, If you have not seen Avatar in 3-d, you need to do so. At first, one of my friends showed me the preview and I just laughed. But after reading some reviews I decided to take a shot, and I can honestly say it was the greatest movie I have ever seen by far.

Next, I am a sit-n-go master. Batting a thousand tonight,I got first in four 6-person sit n go's. I am realizing that I consistantly place in the top 2 or 3 so I think I am going to stick to them for a while, even though I just love ring games.

Finally, I recommend:
reading the book 'intensity' by dean koontz
playing left for dead 2 on xbox 360
watching fourth season of 'it's always sunny in philadaphia'
watching any seasons of 'flight of the conchords'

first week at mizzou is really fun. partying everynight and gettin to know all the other guys is fun. Pledgeship starts tmrw for 12 weeks. i tried out for Mizzous club soccer team and found out that i made it last night. It was just such a relief considering there about 40 players trying out for about 5 spots. Mizzou's club team is kind of a big deal because they won nationals 2 yrs ago and lost in semis last yr. I am really excited about the other guys who made the team as well they all seem like really solid players.
I cashed some money out before i left for college and started with 50.00 when i got here a week ago and have built it up to 415.00 so far. woot.

started with $100 yesterday. 4 tbld NL 25 and went down to $20 in couple hours. went to friends house and came back late night and played in the 90 plyr sng and placed 4th for $99. today, played some NL 50 and crushed pretty much. i now have $600 in my account on purely NL 50, like 80% was made today. i am not moving any higher for a while. you can kill me if i do.

in a 4-way all in pot for 10k each i had KK against 77 QQ and AJ (who called last). river hit an A and i was down to like 123 when the chip av. was like 18k. i won like 5 pots in a row to go to like 25k.

Decided to play tennis this year for my high-school along with some other soccer guys. tryouts are tomorrow, and I have only played probably 15 times in the last like 5 years.

If anyone saw the number one sports center play a couple days ago, the Mcclure North and Chaminade high-school basketball game where this dude blindly throws the ball in as it's going out of bounds. Yup, reppin my hood

In 2 weeks I am going to Cancun, Mexico for Spring Break with a group of about 15 friends. We are stayin in an all-inclusive resort. Despite my excitement, I can't help but be a little nervous with all of this talk about how dangerous it is supposed to be down there.
