I bought a small piece of CraigTheDeac and a smaller piece of Cero_Z who are both in the 10K main event at PCA.

Cero played today and is up to 93K in chips despite not running that well. I'm not to sure what average is but assume it is right around 90Kish.

Craig plays tomorrow and I will be eagerly awaiting updates that will help me pay a tax bill that continues to loom closer and closer.

Good luck to both of you guys and everyone else that's there!

OMG, this was the best movie of the year. Easy. I suggest watching it in theaters so you can tell your kids you were there and a part of this cinematic masterpiece. I am going on a Clint Eastwood binge and am started with Million Dollar Baby. It is very promising so far (half way through) although it's no Gran Torino.

I played a little 500 hand session tonight and took down a BI. I have my confidence back. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who aimed, PM'ed, and responded to my emo blog post. It really means a lot to me, and helped me realize a few things about myself and my poker game. If you are grinding poker and don't really talk to anyone, you just grind your hands and post in forums now and again, I suggest breaking out of your shell. Make some poker friends, get to know people, you will need support at some point, and for that, you need friends.

As some of you know I staked Zaitsev at 200nl for 90K hands. He contacted me for coaching after hearing I took a bunch of lessons from Nutedawg. I had never talked to him before. About 30 minutes into the first (and only) lesson, I asked him if he wanted a stake for 200nl. I had never seen any results and had no references on Alex (Zaitsev) at all, although Verneer did vouch for him later on. So after talking to him for a half hour I decided to ship him 4K and send him off to 200NL. It's funny, I would not give 4K to anyone I know IRL except family and here I am shipping it to someone I have no info on at all. I just had a feeling that he was trustworthy and he was obv very good at poker. I will say it was an annoying 1/2 hour of coaching, so many questions. he bought me out of the stake at 75K hands since I just wanted the money, due to not winning any lately. Here is his graph for those 75K hands...

Just played for the first time in a week and it went well. My new motto "METAGAME DOES NOT EXIST" seems to be working well. I am trying to focus more on ranges and balance. What other types of hands am I taking X line with? How often do I take X line with the A, Y, and Z portions of my range. It is proving to be very difficult for me.

It is very frustrating to still be at 200NL after all the coaching and help from friends I have had. I copied a post from a friends blog about fear of failure which I thought was a very good post. Looking back over the past 3-12 months I can honestly say I have failed in poker. I have no reason to be scared of failure at this point, it's already happened. I am still going to keep playing and I will get to where I want to be. Just because I have failed does not mean I can never succeed.

I am trying to come up with a better system for forum post counts. Right now we have "members" who have less than100 posts and "senior members" who have more than 100 posts. if anyone has any ideas not related to the building block our name resembles, please shoot me a PM or reply here. If I use your idea I will give you a free six month subscription and a custom title.

I just got done uploading the bio info for Leggo's newest pro Sc000t who is going to making PLO (the devils game) videos for all of us.

"The Girl" and I are on the way to her Mom's house for the night to play board games and eat free food. I combed my hair for the first time in over a year today, working from home has some perks I guess. Going to bring in the new year with goop in my hair and Jenga at my fingertips!

Peace out!

My cousin is coming into town and staying with me for a few days starting tomorrow. We are going to do some touristy type stuff around San Fran, relax and get to know each other. We met for the first time about a month ago. He's a great guy, we have a lot in common, and our personalities are so similar it's borderline creepy.

I got some cool stuff for Christmas including tickets to...

I also got tickets to Monster Jam. The girl and I went last year and had a great time. We both enjoyed it much more than we anticipated.

On the poker side of things it has not been going so great. At this point I think I might not be cut out for poker. I am playing badly and not improving, it's depressing.

I have been messin around with poker a little bit. I one tabled 200nl and eight tabled 25nl cascaded. I have messed around with my open raise sizes a little bit and tried some other stuff. Mostly just to take pressure off and relax.

My red line is going down this month instead of up, which is good news. My positive red line was created out of bad bluffs and value towning myself to often.

I hope to play 20K hands this month, but will settle for 17Kish

I have not been playing poker much at all lately. I will have to have some non poker content in here from now on to keep the blog alive.

My parents moved to a retirement community about a year ago and are having the housewarming party today. This means a lot of free food which is great. My girl and I will be heading over in about an hour.

Saw Four Christmases last might and it was OK. There were very funny parts but overall the movie could have been better. I have come to expect more from Vince tbh.

There are going to be some changes at LeggoPoker and we want to get the feedback of the community to make sure we are moving in the right direction. Please post any questions or concerns you have so we can address and incorporate them into LeggoPoker's future.
