Obama. McCain. Hate. Love. Socialism. Marxism. Whatever. It doesn't matter.

Throw it out for one day. And pay attention to the below post. The Bush administration is trying to enact finalized UIGEA regulations last minute without any oversight or concern for our rights. You must call the federal reserve TODAY.

Just one week after a historic election the Poker Players Alliance is pitted in a fight to keep anti-Internet poker regulations from being enacted and we NEED YOUR HELP!

The current Administration is hastily finalizing a number of “midnight rules” before they leave office and the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) is on the list. See the 11/06 story in Dow Jones. Just like UIGEA was snuck into legislation in the dark of night in 2006, our opponents are again trying an 11th hour sneak job. We need you to help us expose and stop this reckless rulemaking.

Please call the U.S. Federal Reserve and tell them not to approve the UIGEA regulations -- Consumer Complaints, 888-851-1920 or Public Affairs, 202-452-2955 .

Tell them:

* The federal agencies responsible for our nation’s economy should not be focused on Internet poker regulations.
* Finalization of the UIGEA rules will add additional burdens on our already crippled financial systems.
* Internet poker is a game of skill and form of recreation for millions of Americans; it should be exempted from the UIGEA.
* Please do not finalize the UIGEA regulations until their impact on our banking systems and average Americans has been fully studied.

Your call will make a huge difference and will add the public’s voice to these last minute policy decisions our government is poised to make. We can’t stand idly by while they make decisions that will impact our right to play America’s card game. PLEASE CALL TODAY!

Things have been going very well at 200nl. I have adjusted very well to the game, and playing the best poker I've ever played in my entire life. I'll have to think about some non poker stuff to blog about, but right now, you guys just have to listen to me talk about running good.

I am playing really well. Probably some of the best poker I've played. I hit some sick variance spots too, so I'm really happy I'm still up 6 bi. My red line is going up, which is great, considering I have just been picking my spots, and have not been too aggro. And my blue line, is the line I usually struggle with, has been climbing up as well. I think this reflects a very balanced style of poker. Anyway, as far as coaching goes, I'm limiting myself to 2 people a day. So, availability is going to be quite limited. Still PM me if you are interested, I'll always try to work something out.

Alex

Edit: Weee! First +1k day today. Graph doesn't show it.

So lately, I've been taking a shot at 200nl, under a stake. I think this will be good for me, I can learn the nuances of 200nl without the swings associated with it. Once i'm off the stake, hopefully I'll be a big winner at these limits, and I really think my Matt can do a lot for my game. Although all he ever tells me is how great I am at poker.

I am really excited to be part of the leggo poker community. I have heard a lot of great things from Matt (Probability). I think this site will work well for me based on the stakes I'm trying to beat now. I've been a 100nl for awhile now, and I am about to start taking some shots at 200nl. I've been playing this game forever, and I feel pretty great about my game right now. I also do a lot of coaching at 50nl and 100nl. I'm currently coaching about 12 regular students a week.

A little about me. I'm 23, from Chicago. Graduated from Indiana University. And poker is what I'm trying to do for a living. I like long walks on the beach, and I have long sandy blonde hair, with beautiful big blue eyes. JK. I'm an asian dude, don't hit on me please.

Oh ya, here's a link to my old blog on CR if you guys care to read it.
