hey! i've decided to start a blog for various reasons (mostly to remember what i was doing 3 months from now). my name is vin and i recently moved to pittsburgh to live with my friend scott for a few months. my main goal while i'm here is to play a lot and of course induldge in infinite movies, video games, etc. i've been playing on absolute poker recently; i started at 100nl and now i'm playing 200-600nl. in addition, i've been playing 40+ hours a week, which is a first for me and it feels amazing! this blog may or may not stick but i've been meaning to do this for a while.

i'd ideally like this blog to contain movie/video game/tv series/music reviews. disclaimer: i'm not a critic! 5 stars = best, 1 star = worst

this movie was okay. the plot is simple yet unique: two friends decide to shoot a porno to make money to pay their rent and utility bills and throughout the process they realize that they're in love with each other. personally, i'm a bit tired of this type of movie but i can't deny it was mildly entertaining and elizabeth banks is extremely hot.

okay! now this one was better, but i was still disappointed because i had heard good things. a recently engaged guy realizes that he has no guy friends and embarks on a quest to find someone to be his best man. this one was unique enough to get 3 stars despite being relatively boring. throughout the movie paul rudd used hilarious phrases that make no sense; and although i felt awkward just watching this, it was fairly funny.

yes! extremely good cd. owen enough to feel familiar yet new enough to be interesting. "amnesia and me" is the best song on the cd imo. absolutely worth listening if you're an indie enthusiast.
