Unlucky! Sometimes it's funny how life works. I lost $70k today playing 100-200, after winning 20 at 10-20 and 25-50. I have been playing so well it's almost surreal when a shot like that goes poorly, especially considering how unbelievable the games were. These games were much better than your standard 5-10 or 10-20 game, so it's particularly disappointing when a 200 hand sample goes just about as poorly as a 200 hand sample could go. It's also real unfortunate when I had plans tonight and they sort of went up in smoke around the time the 100-200 games started. When you look at games like these, anything above 10-20 really, you realize that the people who run good in the short term are the ones who are going to look like geniuses. A 100k hand sample is barely significant and I don't think you could play that many hands at 100-200 in an entire year, even if you were on the lookout for games at all hours.
Sigh.
In other news, I'm back in Indy a little earlier than expected. It's weird to be home, I don't really know how to describe it. Things feel different when you've been away for a while. The weather is terrible, it was 98 or something today and humid as hell. It's such an unpleasant heat, especially after getting used to the dry heat in Vegas. My schedule is of course all fucked up, but when I am awake during the daytime, I don't want to leave the house.
Speaking of which, my roommate must either be the dumbest person alive or think I'm the dumbest person alive. He pays the utility bills, so he turns the air off when he leaves the house. When he goes away for the weekend, he thinks that having the house on 78 degrees won't bother me-- wtf? I usually don't notice the temperature change until I start sweating a little bit. I'm turning that motherfucker down to 68, I hope our bill is a zillion dollars this month.
Peace out homie.
