I saw a guy today begging for money on the corner of the street with a cardboard sign that talking about how he was homeless and would accept any money a passerby could spare. He then took a cell phone out of his pocket and made a call.

I had other stuff to write but I'm getting quite a bit of writer's block right now so I'll make this one of the shortest blogs of all time!

Is that really all that shocking? I saw a "hobo" asking for money to buy food outside a Mcdonalds. He actually got food with the money people gave him, then got in a BMW and drove off. It was a mid 80s BMW but still. True story.

After getting back from Thailand last year I saw a guy in starbucks who looked like he wa traveling so I struck up a convo. He was a beggar and claimed to make $100 a day and bathed in public pools.

Yea, I have heard there are some pro "homeless" guys that live in houses and get dressed up to go beg for money and make an average salary.

in the 90s the beggars with top spots in NYC and London are meant to have made in excess of $100k a year.

no money in begging major western cities anymore though, everyone's stingy/(not a dumb fuck).

i think one of the local news channels did a special and i think that some of the corner guys have a pimp, someone who is just running a business and supplying dirty clothes/signs and sending people out to different corners because i'm sure fresh faces are more likely to get more money!

yeah i remember meeting some homeless dude and i think he was pretty pro. he told jokes which kinda forced me into giving him money.

Homeless guy: Hey, buddy. I bet I can tell you where you got those shoes.
Me: Okay.
Homeless guy: On your feet.
Me: Goddamit

That's standard hobo. 3 different guys tried that on me in New Orleans. The last 2 didn't get anything as I was on to their scheme. And lol at the winrate per 100 begs.
