I dont know if anyone has ever played Z, its an old (win95) RTS game and one of my favourite video games evar. Basically you control an army of robot men thingys and try to murk off another robot army. Its different to most games of its nature in that theres no base building and you have to capture territories with factories etc in which build more robots/tanks and so on. I only mention this as Ive just managed to get it working on winXP after an hour or so of messing about and it was well worth it (although I reckons il waste quite a lot of time in the next week or so playing it). So yeah, ship that





I went to DTD this weekend although I didnt didnt play a whole bunch. On saturday I got a lift down with rob and dodgyken who didnt stay long (wtf happened?) but he seemed like a cool guy from the brief chat I had with him. I didnt play any tournys as I have done previously, instead I played 2/2 round of each (HE/PLO). Ive never played round of each live before and the game had quite a strange dynamic where everyone would completely spazz about and play awfully in PLO and tight in HE (waiting for the PLO to start again I guess). This played into my hands as I mangaed to chip up ok in the HE rounds and play redic snug in the PLO rounds.

Almost every hand of PLO consisted of several limpers, a pot in late position from mostly one of two guys who were potting 80-90% of pots PF between them and like 5 flatcalls. This meant pots got redic. big PF so I just waited for hands that could nail flops, played those and tried to get money in miles ahead. I ended up ~£350 at PLO and ~£100 at HE. If I was better/had more PLO experience I reckon that could've been a lot more and live PLO seems like it could be very profitable in general if games play anyway near as lose and bad as this one.

Thats the only poker I've played recently, a nice win just in time to pay for next years leggo subscription, Ive been here a year and a bit know and feel like its helped my game lots and that $300 is rediculously good value for a years membersjhip (plus hat and T-shirt woot woot).
