Lost a decent amount of cash that I had on there/processing, and without rush grinding is going to be a legit pain.

fell like 60k hands short of hitting 100k, and have now set up a new goal for the next two months. From now until the end of august im hoping to whip out 150k hands. Playing entirely on stars 1/2 probably and maybe moving up half way through. have 11k vpps now so hopefully those 150k hands would get me clsoe to nova and I can go from there.

Just bought a 23in led monitor to make the grind less brutal. wish me luck!

falling quite a bit behind in my schedule for 100k hands. pretty sure its not going to happen anymore

played only 8k hands this week, leaving me with just around 27k for the past two weeks...

The good news is i won 3k this week and im up just shy of 6k for the past 2 weeks at 1/2, pretty solid. Play was almost an even split between stars and ftp again. Hopefully I can log 25k+ hands this week and still salvage a good volume month.

well i just finished the first week of my 4 week 100k hand challenge and it went fairly well.

I managed to play a little over 18k hands with about an even split almost between stars and ftp.

played pretty much entirely 200nl; fr on stars and 6m rush on ftp and the results were fairly solid. I won just shy of 3k. I didnt hit my 25k hand goal which is really dissapointing, but at the same time I feel I played my a game almost entirely, and the resulting 9bb/100 for the week while being significantly under ev for the week and especially the last couple days is pretty sick.

Managed to play a 5k hand session where I went from -7bi to +2bi while being neearly 5bi under ev at one pt. was pretty insane, wound up with a 900bb stack on one table.

This week I really wanna get most of my hands in at the start of the week so that I have more leisure party time at the end of the week.

So after some reflecting and looking at where im going/come from in poker Ive decided that for the next month Im going to try and put in 100k hands in the next 4 weeks starting Monday 23rd of May - Sunday 19th of June.

Im doing this for a few reasons: a) ive been really sucking at volume lately, and that has affected my overall game negatively

b) Im in the worst ds of my 'career' right now, playing a game I find laughably soft and just getting killed and running like balls.

Im planning on making a 2 week trip to party and play a bit of live poker in montreal after these next 4 weeks, and so ll think of that as a vacation if/once i can achieve this goal.


This last year has been my first playing poker seriously, and I think ive come a long way from 25nl to playing 400nl as my regular game right now, but in order to continue the progression and move further into mid and highstakes Im not going to be able to be so lazy about poker and actually play. The money won from a 100k hand month would be really nice too.

I plan to update this blog weekly in order to track progress and keep motivated to grind it out and reach 100k hands.

Really has changed online poker for the past month. FTP seems to be going on a downward spiral and its future seems unstable. Being a FTP player for basically all of my one year career, it's really sad seeing FTP get blown away in almost all regards by Stars (a site that I've never been a fan of).

Since that fateful day, I've been at a loss with what to do for poker. I know I don't want to quit... Being a student with the ability to earn 100-200$/hr seems ridiculous to stop, but since BF ive been just completely unmotivated to play and to put any work or thought into my game.

As it stands Ive been playing mostly 400 rush and 200 6m rush on ftp lately, but as traffic has gone down, so has my volume etc and its just not been good, so for the next two weeks starting this monday coming I plan to put in 25k hands/week for 50k+ total and hopefully can get myself back into the grind and get back on the idea of improving my game.
