Not in the creative mood for first titles, still tired as hell from last night's personal epic session: My first five figga session, about 2/3 was 3/6, rest being 5/10, and a minuscule amount from 10/20.

I'll start with a quick poker career recap. I started taking it seriously sometime at the beginning of 2007, obviously been playing a lot longer than that, but probably much more degenerate style. Anyway, I transferred my starting stake back to the loaner because I was afraid I'd never see it again after the poker legal debacle of last year, got transferred 7 bucks from my roommate/2p2er Brendan/creat!ve for something he owed me. Built that through microstakes and miserable sessions involving 12 tables of 5 dollar sngs. Won my first tournament for $4,200, studied 6max, and moved up and up through the stakes.

I graduated college in December from the University of SC, so I have a sweet diploma (double major in entrepreneurship/marketing) collecting dust while I take some time off to travel, play poker, and live life.

Currently, I am playing 3/6 and 5/10 and taking shots at 10/20 if the tables look good (although very short-term variance hasn't been my friend for those shots).

Anyway, this month has been great to me. Lots of great trips that didn't even involve going too far from Columbia, SC.

Me on the left, my girlfriend, her friend, and her friend's fiance in our somewhat spur of the moment vacation in Charleston.

He just graduated VMI and may be sent to Iraq as early as this fall. Obviously, right at the end of my college career I meet a good friend who has an equal passion for tequila. I wish you guys the best!

I got to hike Table Rock with my girlfriend, spend time with my family in Greenville, and hang out with everybody graduating here because now all of my friends are scattered across the US. It really sucks that everyone is leaving, but at least I got to spend a good amount of time with friends.

While hiking Table Rock, I think I partially tore/strained a tendon on my foot and I was a gimp for about two weeks. This hobble proceeded to make me walk like I had rickets when I went to Hilton Head with my family. During a little rum influenced UFC style beach fighting (foot was partially numbed during this) with the younger bro, I got kicked in the side of the knee by the top of his foot. We both fell the the ground writhing in pain. Needless to say, the next morning my knee looked more like a softball...and now I felt like I needed a new set of legs.

Me and the broseph in Hilton Head. Raccoon eyes from my aviators ftl.

Ok, so that's a little recap from my month. I am devoting myself to actually using a camera this summer. I've had way too much stuff going on this month to document in one post, and I still have managed to get in 25k hands and a couple FTOPS events...no idea how.

I am going to be a groomsman in a wedding of one of my best friends coming up. Prittay prittay excited for that. Then I depart for VEGAS on the 9th. I'm staying with some 2p2ers: LucidDream, Hugo_Busto, creat!ve, danieldaylewis, fees, and umd tennis. We also have a couple of guys staying with us as part of a coaching program. It is going to be great for everybody's game. The house is pretty balla and includes a pool, going to need some rafts because I don't think you can possibly survive in Vegas when your not in a pool. I'll post some pics of the place soon.

For anybody that has actually read this crap up until this point, I can assure you future blog posts will be full of various shenanigans and stories from LV. I'll be posting graphs, hands, and general poker rants as well. I mean I needed something to start this thing off with.

Anyway, off to see Indiana Jones at a drive-in movie w/ the g/f...yes, I've heard the movie is horrible, but I love the movies so I have to see for myself...and I can pack a cooler full of beer.

Laters.
