I've finally started winning consistently, and I know why now too. I've been playing 9+ tables these past few days and been playing A+ poker, my mistakes are very very minor, and my rare moves/bluffs have been very effective. At 50nl there is no reason to be playing level 3+ poker, ever. If there is a guy at your table capable of it, just ignore him, fish live in the 50nl sea. I've been playing standard, face-up poker and crushing for 14BB/100 over the past 2.5k hands without anything fancy, except one play which I placed below for your enjoyment.


Villain was a 24/22 and taking some non-standard lines, so I knew he was either thinking level 2, or just an idiot. But my first hand with him I had AA and played very fast, trying to push him into an error by betting big, unfortunately he folded. I had been involved in two hands after that and both were standard cbet/fold boards. This hand I knew was a pretty bad board to cbet with air, so I did it anyway, expecting him to be frustrated enough to make a move. When he raises, I put him on a pp, but I don't want to shove because it looks so bluffy. So I minraise with the intention of folding to a shove, when he calls he turns his hand face up as a marginal one pair hand, and with the sizing being so perfect, I shove it in, expecting him to think that I must think I have little FE to shove here with a bluff. Luckily, all worked out.
