First off, thanks to all the leggo community who have been giving feedback on my hands. I know sometimes I give my reasoning and debate, but I'm not doing it because I think I'm right, I'm trying to learn and figure this out deeper than "you told me so." I definitely need to keep working on my game. But anyway on to my blog title.
This weekend was homecoming and my folks came over to see me and my gf. My mom's a nurse and when she saw me she started asking about how I was and if I was sleeping etc. I started to tell her about how my lymph nodes had been really swollen and I didn't have really any symptoms so she said it would be a good idea and be tested for strep throat and mono, well gg life, I have mono. So that obviously sucks because I feel drained/tired a lot more now because I think something's wrong with me, where as before I just tended to take a lot of naps, now I constantly feel like I'm below par. But anyway, we decided to go out and fly my R/C plane I just got like two weeks ago and it went really well, we had just run down an entire battery when I popped in the second one and re-launched. It was going great then this huge gust picked up and carried the damn thing right into a tree. I had a slingshot, fishing line and weight to get it out with, but I couldn't get it to land right after like an hour of effort. I was getting really life-tilted when I pulled the sling back and shot way to quickly, the line was tangled and the weight snapped back down, hit my foot, wrapped the line around my middle toe and then pulled so hard it cut all the way around, spurting blood out on my foot. (That's a f*cking life cooler, what are the damn odds) I thought I had just hit it with the weight because it didn't hurt that bad, but when i looked at it I thought I had like ripped the top of my toe off. So we left the plane there and went back to my room where I had to tend to my foot and get babied while we watched Wake beat UVA. Very sweet game and overall had a pretty good time. One thing I would tell you guys, dont dont dont dont rub a wet wipe on your cut open toe, the alcohol hurt like a mofo.
