I busted my roll today. I'm totally dejected and pretty hopeless. I posted my 11th -$1000+ Allin EV day in June today losing allin AQo < JJ, JJ < AJ, JJ < TT, KK < JJ 2x, 2 overs + fd AI on flop, AQo < JTs PF, AA < K8o all in on KJ4 rainbow for 120 BB, AJ < KJ on Jxxhh for 80bb. I'm pretty distraught... Shoulda moved down, no excuses. For the month, I'm -44.x BI in AI Equity (NL200). It's like the second month out of 3 that I've run like dog ****. I'll post a graph or something later. Later.

Plus some others, but I'm too pissed to dig through my database any more. I'm down 3k or 15 BI at $1/2 in June. Sweet. I just pulled a huge chunk of $ from my BR to pay for the upcoming wedding / honeymoon and now I'm looking at moving back down. F*** life ATM.

So, like 5 days back I received the standard form email from Full Tilt congratulating me for have multiple accounts. They locked the handle I'd been using for the past year and let me have the option to withdraw funds or transfer them to my primary account. I hadn't played under the old nick since I registered the new one in order to get ******** and I'm not really sure what set off the alarm, but that account's gone along w/ my ******** there. Consequently, I really don't have any motivation to continue on that site, as their customer service flat sucks and their rewards program is pretty shy too. I've decided to move my working roll over to Pokerstars for the time being, where I haven't logged many hands in a very long time, until I set something else up. If I get comfortable there (their software has always tilted me) I may keep the majority of my roll w/ them, but in the meantime I'm looking for some softer European sites to play on. I've already registered at Titan Poker and I'm probably going to sign up for a couple others, including something on Crypto, as soon as Pokertracker 3 adds site support and Full Tilt straigtens things out w/ my account. I tried to register at Everest and a couple others that didn't accept me because I'm living in Ukraine. Bummer. I think I'll give it a go w/ Pacific Poker, as I've heard good things about the player pool there.
I'd set my monthly $ goal for May at $11k, but I've been stumped this last week and it's becoming more and more clear that I'm not going to have time to put in enough hands to meet that goal. June FTW. I've spent some of this down time reviewing my play from the first part of this year and was pretty disappointed w/ a lot of what I found. Mostly tilting off buy-in after buy-in when the cards ran cold or I was running bad, so I've decided to implement a stop-loss of 4 BI and subsquent to that enforce a 2-hour cool-down before I can put in another hand. Hopefully that'll stanch the spew before it gets out of hand. As well, I've set the goal to make $100k in the next 6 months. I'll be posting graphs, etc., along the way.
In other news, I finally got a gym-membership. The place is ridiculously nice. Really, I've never been in a nicer gym, and I'm almost convinced a nicer one doesn't exist. (I'll post pics soon). I'll start tomorrow, as today I need to put together a workout routine.
So, for now, just biting my tongue and waiting for my roll to clear my account. Time for some PT review and then to draft up an exercise regimen.

Just got in from Kiev a couple hours ago, put in a short session and ran kinda hot. I had the great fortune of sitting with two 80/20 donks 300 BB deep who couldn't lay down any pair or draw but I failed to profit from either by even a dollar. Notable hands were me felting 9T on an 5786 rainbow vs. donk's A9 and rivering a T for the split and this one:
Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter
SB: $611.20
BB: $495.30
UTG: $261.25
MP: $282
Hero (CO): $295
BTN: $200
Pre-Flop: Q Q dealt to Hero (CO)
2 folds, Hero raises to $6, BTN folds, SB calls $5, BB calls $4
Flop: ($18) 9 7 8 (3 Players)
SB bets $18, BB calls $18, Hero raises to $65, SB calls $47, BB calls $47
Turn: ($213) 6 (3 Players)
SB checks, BB bets $118, Hero folds, SB calls $118
River: ($449) 6 (2 Players)
SB bets $122
Results: $449 Pot ($3 Rake)
SB mucked and WON $446 (+$257 NET)
So a pretty meh session despite the profit, which came mostly from picking off bad bluffs and picking on donks:
Anyways, the trip to Kiev was a success. The people at the American Embassy were great, I didn't have to wait for anything, and I was able to clear up all questions I had about the visa process my fiance and I will be going through post-marriage, which process can be really, really f***ing aggravating. So I'm looking at a mid-June wedding, Paris an Amsterdam early July, visa in hand late August, off to Thailand beginning September and the back to the US in January. On a side note, I was really pissed off for a bit yesterday morning when after stepping out of the subway in Kiev I noticed my iPod Touch had been stolen from my left front pocket. Stupid to keep it there given that the Kiev metro is ridiculously overcrowded and everyone's pushing on everyone trying to make their way through narrow entryways, etc., but force of habit kept that thing on me at all times and it's just not in my character to give my surroundings much notice or thought once I've become accustomed to them. FTP points for the replacement, imo.
Monday I'm going down the street to sign up for a gym membership. I used to work out daily and when I was working in Alaska I was a full 25 lbs. heavier (all muscle). Now I'm sitting at my natural weight of 155, but I'm 6'0, and that's just unacceptable. Leggo's new Fitness and Nutrition forum is my motivation.
Also, after spending weeks talking with and reading about the various coaches out there, I've finally booked a series of sessions w/ Xorbie, the 2P2 mod. Greg had great things to say about him in our SSNL group course and seems to give him a lot of respect as a player, so that coupled with the fact that he only charges $175 hourly made him seem like an excellent value. I'm really looking forward to improving and moving up in stakes.
One more thing, on Thursday night I had an interview with a Ukranian gambling publication. A friend of a friend got wind that I play online professionally and decided to do a feature article on yours truly Funny since I'm really nobody of the no one's online, but hey, they loved the material and the magazine has a pretty decent readership. Hopefully it pushes some new players into the pool and profits us all. Also, I was able to give Leggo and Mr. Greg Brooks a pretty sweet plug, so I'll be checking the mail for royalty checks soon

So, after a few days of procrastinating, I've decided to get with it and begin a blog. A lot's going on in my life right now and it'll give me some satisfaction to have a record of these days and happenings in addition to a place to vent about and share what's up with my poker "career."
To introduce myself: I'm 25, living in Odessa, Ukraine, grinding $1/2 trying to break into MSNL. I'm getting married next month to a wonderful Ukranian girl whom I met while working in Alaska a few summers back, and we're planning a sweet honeymoon trip to Amsterdam and Paris for July. Tonight we're going to the capital city of Ukraine, Kiev, so that I can get a Certificate of Freedom to Marry, for which I have to swear to some official that I'm legally eligible to marry, in other words, that I'm single. Depending on when the trains are running, I should be back early Saturday morning (locally) / late Friday US. It'll be good to have a short break from poker, since I'm so caught up in the daily grind (~2000 hands/day avg.) and I've had a few rough sessions this week, one in which I dropped $1300 @ $1/2 and another where I lost ~$1000 +-. For the month I'm up ~$4000 and I've earned maybe $1000 in ********, hoping to net, altogether, $11k by June 1.
I guess that does it for the intro. I'll post more after next session, including some graphs and PT shots.
