Its like 5 a.m and the game is 6 handed. Two big winners (who have no where to be and are degenerates - I'm one of them.). Two big losers in for about 3-4k combined (One of them is yelling throwing cards and is being obnoxious but in a hilarious kind of way.. Yelling how he could be with his girl getting laid instead he is losing his dick straight over and over.). Two people falling asleep at the table.. (I dont really comprehend their reasoning for still being there.)

The game is Omaha PL (1-2 blinds bring in is 5$). No one ever folds pf except the one guy who is sleeping so we let him sleep. It's been decided that its stupid to raise pf.

Im on the button (QhQs6h2s)with the obnoxious loser behind me lets call him Oban for conversation sake. We go 6 to the flop (Pot $30) the flop comes very wet with J-10-4 two diamonds. It gets checket around and the turn (Kh) checks to me so I fire out a pot bet. I get called by the first big loser in early position and Oban calls me (Pot $90). On the river (9s) is checked around and I make it 45$. Early position folds but the bastard Oban gets stubborn and starts talking. Asking why only 45$. "Im in for thousands and losing my dick straight, whats another 45$?" He asks. I smile.. "Ill do you a favor Oban", I say. I give him a chance to see one card and say "but pick a good one". He turns over the Q of spades and folds.

Thought it was interesting for what it is..

It has been a year..

Im about to turn 31 and now play exclusively live. The game I play in is at a Cigar Lounge members only 2-5. I been playing the game for about 9 months. The first 6 months I destroyed @ the game. But now see my results and play getting stunted, uncreative and doubts seeping in. I just dont feel fresh anymore and feel run down.

The reason I wanted to make an entry a year away from Leggo is the recent Video by Zaza which encouraged me to talk my ideas out and explain to discuss and speak my thoughts out, as a way of correcting my flawed thinking processes, reinforcing correct logic and reasoning, and coming up with new creative theory with good judgement and reasoning behind them.

I made a promise to my self to keep posting two entries a week to discuss poker related topics which always cloud my brain and till now didn't always have an outlet.

I titled all my profits for the month away last night and I feel good about it. It's a learning experience. I have really gained a lot of knowledge over the last half a month, I have learned about my self a great deal and am now prepared to be a disciplined grinding machine.

Some things I learned.

I suck @ Omaha PL and shouldnt play higher then 25nl
In NL Holdem I play turns horribly. I suck @turn play.
I am too result oriented and this makes me tilt like a hungry bear mom, whos cubs are being fucked with by drunk 18 year old frat boys on a camping trip.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could implement permanent filters to prevent you from moving up and chasing loses. Like a permanent filter for the week or month or whatever.

It was Fun though chasing loses, even if unseccesFul at times.

I will play only 50nl on Merge poker.

This past weekend I turned thirty years old. While I know I must be the oldest one here, I still have to brag about my birthday. My birthday this year fell on a sunday. So for my birthday my girl got me a suite at the http://www.hotelgansevoort.com/. Its the sickest suite ever. The views where just breathtaking and the rooftop party was amazing. We went out to eat italian dinner together at a really sick italian restaurant. Then we had a room party with drinks and smoke . After everyone was hammered we partied on the roof and back at room till 6 a.m. It was so sick.

I live in New York City and I grind between work, school and poker all the time. My girls parents are also going through a lot, so we thought we'd get away and rent a house in PA for the weekend. We got there friday night and left sunday afternoon (A 3 hour drive) First off when you rent a crib for weekend you only getting it for that saturday, You too bussy accumilating first night. You too bussy packing last night. But saturday was amazing we drove around. Checked out the delaware river, and went to some small town in the area. Life just seemed so fucking slow and people are too nice. Seriously middle america you need to work on this. But it was very enjoyable and relaxing. I loved just taking in the scenery, chilaxin, playing pool, smoking cigars. It was sick and very enjoyable.

I started off february on the Road to success grinding me some 25 PLO. It went smooth for about the first ten days, until I decided i was crushing and then madness ensued. I feel like the most difficult part for me in poker is trying to get up a level. Not only are you adjusting to players ( I for one think its a major BS when players think that the difference is that major between the micro/low stakes levels. ) but you are also adjusting to new stakes, where every mistake is twice as costly. I feel like its easier to lose confidence when making this transgression and much easier to TILT. While I didn't encounter any tilt problems playing in January, I did have some tilt sessions in late February. Loosing confidence in my self playing PLO has encouraged me to give NL Holdem a shot. Through all mid - late february turbulence I must say I feel very confident currently playing 50NL and 50 PLO. I hope to really grind at this limit through all of MARCH. If things go well I might explore moving up to 100NL. The confidence I am instilled with should make TILT not an issue in March as I plan to play the same level throughout the entire month. Overall I am feeling good and hope to post solid results in March.

Yesterday, On Facebook my girlfriend received a threat to her safety on Fb. This person has been creating random names on FB and threatening her safety. They even mentioned her phone # in the Facebook message. I am not exactly sure what to think. On one hand I always think if a person really wants to hurt you they would just do it instead of saying it and hiding behind the screen. But she is really freaked out and this person seems to be creating new names and messaging her. Whats my play here other then being by her side all the time. We live in NYC if thats of any help.

My dream has always been to be a writer. I have always wanted to write ever since a very young age of reading Earnest Hemingway. I've always idolized the Paris during the twenties with young writers and the mystique of the typewriter that has been used for so many years before the Computer came about. Today I purchased a 1958 Hermes 3000 typewriter. No It doesn't do anything but type and thats the good part is that there is no distraction when its just me and the keys to write. No Facebook, no forums just old school. I know many people will be like, really? But for me its a huge unbelievable brag.
