What has been going on...
-For one, I'm mired in an awful shooting slump. Later today (I'm in a super weird schedule where I woke up at ~10pm last night... going to try to make it to the afternoon today) I'm going to make a video of me shooting at the gym. Mainly to see what mistakes I'm making, something is wrong up with my form. Would appreciate feedback on that when I post it.

-Unfortunately, this has hurt me for my league games. The Thursday league I'm in, (was invited by the leggomember "The Driver") people are pretty solid/my team is good, and we were rolling - destroying teams - but on Thurs we lost our first game 76-70. I was a complete non factor. On Monday and Tuesday (my other 2 leagues) I've been getting to the rim but I seriously think the past 2 weeks I'm shooting something like 18% on 3s. It's ridiculous.

-I'm going to Phoenix the ~19th! (or 18th? I need to figure out dates asap!) This is exciting, basically there is an opportunity to play basketball on the Phoenix Suns court. And go to the Suns game, Friday the 19th vs the Hawks. Aaron, Starkey, Assani, Keith, Asa, and possibly Alex will all be there. The plan is to go to LA afterward for several days, probably fly back the 24th. (LAPC)

-A friend of mine named Maulik came to visit Boston. Well, he was actually (technically) here to help Dave (Gaucho) with computer related things, but he came up Tuesday/stayed the night/Wednesday, we played bball both days. Was pretty fun.

-I (temporarily?) merged both groups since they were suffering from some attendance issues. The combined group met on Monday and it worked out well, but I may re-split them up. Will make that decision in 2 days. Regardless, both groups are just nearing the final third section, so I probably will start thinking about starting up a new group. I've gotten some interest in PMs, and it's sorta a weird spot given if it's started too late it runs into the summer (WSOP stuff) but regardless I'll see what happens with my current 2 groups.

-Lastly, I hadn't actually played poker in a while. Like 2 weeks*. Anyway, due to the weird sleep schedule, I was up late, had just finished watching The Matrix, made a pot of coffee, and figured I'd play. I played low stakes on FTP, and managed a little more than 2.4k hands of HU. Felt good, since I just wanted to shake off rust. Didn't really want to throw myself in the vortex or to the wolves or whatever the expression is. I think I made 12 buyins too, along the way busting someone's roll. 2 observations:
1. FTP has awful customer service. I forgot to turn on the HH box, so afterward I asked them to send me the hands I played. It's been 2 days and I still haven't heard from them. (Sent another email) There's a reason why I love PS so much more. Ugh.
2. The policy that someone who sits first has control of the table is a joke and awful. With HU it should be play or leave. I don't understand any other policy. I have a bunch of thoughts on what is best for both the site and for the players, but let me just say it's frustrating the way sites currently do things.

*Note that I have played a bit of rush in the past 2 weeks, but lol, I am NOT calling it poker. Or at least serious poker. Let's just say I don't think I'm going to play rush anytime soon, since I suppose I really do enjoy typical game flow.

So, that's about it for now. The powerpoint that I've been working on (a direct coaching series) is almost ready - had to get a new camtasia for this laptop.

I used to go 1 full high school season. Then a new pair for the spring/summer. So 2 pairs a season if I played ~4 times a week. Assuming most of the play is indoors.

1. Yeah don't expect a reply. I've emailed them a few times to get HH from hands I get disconnected and never get a response.

got this today:

'Hi grogheadflow,

As someone who has played in Heads-Up Ring Games in the past, we’d like to let you know about a recent update to our Heads-Up Ring Game table policy.

Now, when you sit alone at more than one identical Heads-Up Ring Game table, the game will automatically hide all but one of those tables. The table shown will be determined based on stack size, with your largest stack getting priority.

This gives players the opportunity to sit down at as many Heads-Up tables as they like, up to their table limit, without clogging up the lobby - previous restrictions no longer apply. This means Customer Support will no longer need to monitor or enforce the old Heads-Up table clogging rules.

We would also remind players of Full Tilt Poker’s policy against using more than one account. The creation or use of multiple accounts is strictly prohibited, and can result in account suspension and forfeiture of funds. Please see our Site Terms for more information.
Good luck at the tables.
