In my downtime between classes I just realized I haven't blogged for over half a year. Apparently the commitment to blogging is hard for me (pathetic..yes I know). All in all my life is pretty good. Currently grinding out my last semester of undergraduate studies at Indiana University . I am still in utter disbelief that my glory days of college are drying up. I guess at some point I have to grow up.

I am still playing 100nl and a brief bouts with 200nl max. I basically played horrible for 3 months, but depleting my roll led to changing my game for the better. Starting to take a look at positional awareness stats and especially my blind play which can be much better. Still struggling with tightening up my VPIP as I tend to overplay. Last month would have been good for 15 bis at 100nl, but lost 5 at 200nl, but tis life. Have a good start this month so thats nice.

Yesterday I decided to grind a few donkaments along with ring games. Played in 25k g. on stars and a few other small buy ins. 6.5 hours later I find myself with 4 left and short stacked. Was pretty excited due to 2 of the players not being good at all. Problem was the uber nit at the table who basically folded everything, AA AK, KK, QQ, JJ had doubled up 3 different times. Anyways to end the story was 4handed for almost 40 minutes which is nuts... blinds started owning my stack and I shoved KJs on button and the nit who had 10vpip at the final table for f sake snaps show AK. I don't hit gg 4th place = $1700. I can't be mad because I never had a big stack all tourney, but always tough to go that far and not at least make it heads up for 5k. Donkaments are funny like that.

My goal this month is to win 25 buy ins at 100nl and put in about 40k hands which may be tough with school. I am trying to get on a real big roll with poker b/c after I graduate in December I would really like to do a Euro trip and visit my homeland IRELAND (went there in 2nd grade, but that doesn't count). We will see what happens as nothing is written in stone.

In conclusion and regards to my title... WOW BEARS GAME just WOW. I never played football, more of a hockey guy, but how the F is that Lions TD not a catch. Well you the process .. oh gimme a fucking break. He took 3 steps with possession so what does it matter if he tucked his sac back with the ball or not (apparently the rule book does). I can't complain though because I love Da Bears and any W is a W for us who I don't expect to win more than 6 games.

Bonjour. Been a while since last little update. Anyways life has been pretty stressful due to midterms and girl issues... Unfortunately my poker game has taking such a beating since concentrating on school. I see that instead of tightening up I have loosened up like a rigged slot machine and am just giving away money. This month my vpip is at like 29 at 6 max 100nl and thats just too loose for me and as a result I am only up 2 bis on the month . I don't really know how much effort I can put in my game cause as of right now my heart really is not into it, like it was this summer. I am caring way to much about getting a good GPA this semester and also "making babies" which has lots of room for improvement. Honestly I do not see any major changes until Thanksgiving break which will be the first time I will be back in Chicago since mid August. Anyways enough ranting.

Pretty excited to meet my man Toocrispy who is supposed to be coming to stay at my place at IU for a couple days with IAMTHAGRANDMASTER. Hopefully these solid players can kick my asss back into gear and quitmaking me be such a spewtard. Shout out to Crispy for not getting taking down by the feds...

I am really excited tonight cause Victoria Secret is putting on a free concert 3 blocks from my house. The two acts are Cobra Starship and ........GIRLTALK. I am back baby!!!!! (Frank Castanza voice), well this is true about posting on here, but unfortunately not really related to poker. Basically after moving into my new house at IU ( where I live with 7 friends), poker has been a sidenote and frigging disgusting. After going on a bad run and I mean pretty gross at 100nl on FTP in like 5 days, I decided to go back to AP(lol) and try to make some quick cash then go back to the good software which I love at FTP. Well when you do things like this it never goes the right way. Basically I am down not too much, but a couple bi's at AP to just atrocious beats. This is starting to sound like a huge whine blog so I will end that now. Basically next month I am going to try and take care of my school work in a timely fashion so I can focus back on my 6 max game. After reviewing a bunch of my hands and such and also from reading LOSTNTHESAUS's blog which I love, I am trying to limit my sessions to an hour unless there is a huge fish at the table. 7 outta 10 times previously in my marathon sessions I start out up a couple bis only to end down 2, which makes me a sad panda. I also need to friggin tighten up my game which stink bc I like to splash around, but right now it is just not profitable and I need a lil ego boost so playing like a nit will have to do.

I really really want to get in at least 30k hands next month at 100nl and hopefully some 200nl. I am planning on going up to the Hammond Horseshoe from oct. 16-18 and meet up with some microbrew regs. from 2+2 who I have been wanting to shoot the shit with in real life. So I am crossing my fingers that I run decent up until that point so I can play acouple tourneys and maybe get someone to buy some action from me.

Anyways I have to cut this off, hopefully you aren't asleep by now. I am about to take some pointless quiz in my Technology Management class.

Bonjour. It has been quite some time since my last blog post. Many things have happened although many of them not too good. The second half of July is a time period in which I would like to forget. As we all know there are ups and downs in poker and i received the latter. Some of it was trying out HU, PL Omaha and just playing on a C+ level. I wish I could blame it on the fact that I was trying to get in a ton of hands only 4-5 tabling 100nl and some 200nl in order to get highest vip level onAP. While I did reach my goal of the top vip, my broll suffered as I went on a -8bi streak to end the month.

Anyways it is a new month for me which has not seen much poker at all . I just moved out of my home outside of Chicago and into an 8 bedroom house in Bloomington IN for school. So far my room is almost set up, but I brought too much stuff with cause apparently rooms look a lot bigger when they are empty duhh. I can't wait for all my roomates to move in so it will be a wild time. Yesterday we bought a decent pool table so I can hopefully get my 8ball hustle on. Pokerwise I made the mistake of trying to get back some losses playing 200nl and ofc trap the hell outta a dude with kK and he calls q hi flop with AQ and river binks A... standard whine, but seems to happen at real bad times towards me. I am going to try and overhaul my game. Going to be playing some at FTP which has me somewhat excited cause AP has no volume players and really crappy mtts. I have watched a few videos and just need to get back to B+ or A- level to do fairly well at 100nl.

Also what the fuck was my man Patrick Kane thinking in that cabbie incidence. I am actually embarrased for him and the blackhawks. Really wanna hear what he has to say tbh. Anyways take care all and I am pulling for a good month on the tables and the CUBS!!

Well another summer month flies by without a wink of an eye. June was kind of a really boring month except for a 3 day binge in Vegas with a couple of buddies from IU. The trip started early last Friday and ended Sunday afternoon. It was not nearly long enough for me to see and do everything that I wanted to, but all in all it was a blast. Unfortunately, poker sort of took a backseat to getting hammered and going to the club Tryst at the Wynn then Pure at C. Palace which is pretty neat on Saturday. The coolest part about PURE is the rooftop dance party which looks out on the strip which is surreal especially when highly intoxicated. I am pissed at leaving my camera in the hotel room, but LOSTNTHESAUS has some sweet pics from there. I played a lot of drunken craps and ended up making a lil over a hundred which is a win in my book. Vegas is nuts and there are almost know rules at one point my buddies and I were swigging a handle of sky vodka on the casino floor and then out on the strip. Sleep is an after thought there, but all the oxygen pumped in the casino makes you not feel nearly as tired.

PLayed 2 sessions of 1/2 at the Mirage and the competition for the most part was laughable. It was standard for blind to call x10 bb raise with q7 suited. First session made a lil under 200 second did not go so well and I lost a huge pot with KcKs vs qc7c suited which put me on huge tilt ( I was on button 1st po straddled 2 callers to me, I raise to 30, bb (euro homo who didnt know his hand from his dick snap calls, flop is 345all clubs... he bets 2 dollar!!! I raise 40, he reraises to 80 I think for a minute about shoving, but decide to just call. Turn is a fucking K i have set and 2nd nut flush draw. BB bets 25, I shove another 100 or so he snaps shows q flush river blanks ofc and i lose. gg me. , its really hard to come back in short time period due to how fucking slow live is my god. I was mostly playing for the entertainment from all the morons who played 1/2 and acted like they actually knew what implied odds were.

Anyways on to online play for June. Of course I did not watch nearly as many videos as I wouldve liked. MY month was super super swongy and I will link the graph. Right b4 I left for Vegas I decided to take on a fish at 2/4 nl hu which was dumb because I shouldve known I would be 6 outted for 1000bbs . The next day I wanted redemption and followed said fish to 5/10 ( I am retarded and payed for this). Made one bad call and lost to kicker so basically I lost 9 ish bis for 100nl in like 400 hands. Good way to leave for Vegas right??? Anyways I ended up making only about 900 so bones playing mostly 100nl with some 200nl mixed in. I feel like my game was real strong for a couple days then went to uber auto pilot while I just tried to get in hands which I really really need to work on. RB is a solid 1200 bones with a 350 rake race bonus which will most likely help buy an Iphone or some pointless other shit which I don't need.

Hi all it is the middle of June and it seems as if I have overstayed my welcome at my parents home already. Granted I am 21 and will be returning to Indiana University in the fall to conitinue my studies, but I feel as if I am just too old to be living under the same roof with them. Constant arguements about pointless shit happen all day. They really hate the fact that I do not have an internship, but I tried my damndest to get one, but alas the economy sucks and I refuse to do one without pay (greedy).

On to the poker front. My previous goals for this month was to...

a.) play 50k hands this month
b.) get leggo subs. and watch 2 vids a week
c.) make money haa no just not tilt.

Well as of now i am sitting at 25.2k hands. Unfortunately this month has been quite swongy. It started out piss poor and then i went hot, then real cold for about 10k hands, and just fighting through crappy variance and running into 4 outers (waa, standard). Last night thought I was going to have that kick start session. I have been mixing in some 200nl with my normal 100nl and was going real good, but then lose 600 pot with boat on turn and trap the fuck outta a reg who shoves with KK and i snap off and no the 2 outer king didn't fall on river instead a 3rd 5 fell which gave him 5s over ks vs my 5s over 3s. Kinda sucks, but whatever. So for this month I am sitting up only 7 bis at 100nl and ev wise should be at 12. I know I am not playing bad, but I do need to work on my 3 bet -4bet in position game. Starting to watch a few vids which are helping.

On a better note. I am leaving for Vegas in a week which is really really exciting. Unfortunately I am only going to be there 3 days for friends birthday bash basically . Hopefully will get in some ring game action, but dissapointed that I will not be able to play in any deep stack tourneys at the venetian or other casinos. I am staying at the Mirage which I hear has a topless pool thingy which if so I have to frequent . Duno if I will be able to get 50k hands, but I don't really care tbh. I am going to Vegas and some concerts and shit which will be great especially to get away from the folks. Also got a new 23" Acer Hd Widescreen monitor which is awesome, problem is I am a moron and figured I could run my Dell 22" through vga on my Dell Studio 15 laptop and then use my new Acer through HDMI into my Studio, but I can't get both monitors to work at the same time. I don't know if i need a docking station or a new video. I am a moron and shouldve looked into it beforehand, but I couldn't pass up the good deal.

Anyways I need to get some sun on me so I don't fry poolside in Vegas. Take care and run good just not against me.

Here is my results for the month of May. This month was pretty different because I had a lot more time to grind with school ending + with a little less than a week left I realized that I had a chance to reach diamond elite on AP, so I really played too much or too long of sessions. Of course I barely missed getting the top vip level so that sucks. Pretty good month, but lost back tons of BIs due to playing too long and getting hot headed. RB is going to help for my trip coming up to vegas. Heres my graph below

First off, I would like to introduce myself. I am Cam,Cameron, or CD whichever you prefer. I am a 21 year old from North of Chicago who attend Indiana University. Basically I have been putting off creating my own blog for quite sometime, but since finals are over and I am back home to boredomville I figured now sounds like a perfect time to write one.

Ok. So on to my poker story. Basically in h.s started to get interested into poker mostly due to seeing it on t.v. (WSOP) then playing quite often after school with a bunch of buddies for like 10 bucks. As highschool progressed the games became to soft and most of my friends threw in the towel, because they realized how much money they had lost in a long period of time. When I heard about online poker I was quite excited about the idea of playing on your computer, but at the same time very skeptical. Unfortunately by the time I had the kahonas to buy in online the PartyPoker donkfiesta era had just ended. I first dabbled on Pstars with 50 dollar buys which I would either lose right away or run up, never following close to any bankroll strategy. As time went by I realized I was not doing this the right way, mostly be losing 200 bucks in 50 dollar spews, just to reload get up to 300 cash out 200, then rinse repeat.

By 2nd semester my sophmore year at college I had finally figured out that I needed to follow bankroll strategy and saved up about 500 bucks to deposit on Absolute Poker. I am not exactly sure why Absolute came to mind, but they had nice bonuses and pretty high RB 30%. I slowly began the grind of 25nl and basically didn't go anywhere for quite a while. After reading on 2+2 ( shout out to all the BREW MEMBERS) and browsing I decided to purchase HEM which was the best idea or poker move I have ever made. I slowly started analyzing my leaks and such. After a couple months I started playing 50nl and so on. Blah blah blah, there where huge swings and up/ down and around. After like 2 month I was wondering wtf was I doing wrong. I kept blaming everyone, but myself and crap like that. Finally I realized what really was hurting me was non-showdown winnings. I started tweaking my game and as of today I am about 30k hands into nl100, playing what I believe to be as the best online poker of my life. With that said I still have substantial amounts to learn and change. I am considering getting a video membership at either Leggo or one of their competitors(keep it on the dl) .

Poker is really my big love other than Hockey (Go Blackhawks- Fuck Detriot), and also going to concerts which I am really excited for this summer cause I already have a ticket to DMB at Alpine and hold your judging Phish for their reunion tour. I will also probably going to Lolla. It all matters on what kind of hours I will be forced to work( lame) at Kraft for a potential internship cause I have to pump up the resume and also my parents frown on poker being my income(newbs). Since I am living in their house and under their rules I must oblige and do as they say. I really wish I just had an apartment down in the city where a bunch of my friends and older sister live, but hopefully after I receive my degree I will be moving into Wrigleyville !!!!!
