help- finding a coder for iphone app

I have an idea for an app and want to hire a coder to throw it together. Does anyone have any experience with any of the process? Apparently I'm not googling efficiently enough because I can't really find any good review as to who to go to. App is very simple- I'd imagine really anyone who knows how to write programs would be able to do it.

I've never thought about that situation, but it's slightly more complicated to hire a programmer to make an iphone app as opposed to a web or desktop app.

Developers need to enroll in the Apple developer program to publish iphone apps, then they can submit them to Apple for approval and so on. I would expect the developer to get paid by Apple, so I'm not sure what the typical process is in outsourcing an iphone app.
