January went alright. I'll post the graph later, since I'm sitting in class, on my laptop, learning some random MatLAB programming (obv one tabling 5//10 in the meantime). I know I ran pretty hot right off the bat, like +13k in 4k hands, but cooled down to 7k/7k hands in 24 hrs of play. Right now, I have to go over some winrate stuff and whatnot, to figure out what will maximize my hourly. Good 5/10 doesnt run all that often, so I get like no volume in. 10 tabling 2/4 however is lesser stakes, lesser winrate more than likely, but allows me to get in a lot more hands. You also have to take in to account the fact that 10 tabling doesnt really make you better, and its harder to think about every spot. Like I said I havent gone thru the math, but I'd imagine 4 tabling 5/10 is going to be better overall.
sh58 mentions that he's going to 4 table 1/2 rush on ftp while waiting for his games to run. Might have to try that out. 5ptbb/100 at 1k hands/hr is 200/hr, and you dont really have to worry about gameflow. If I do this, I'll prob get back into HU play, which I feel like I havent done in forever. I'll prob give 10/20 a stab again, and bum it up at 5knl. I dont really expect to get action, but mind as well try.
As for life stuff, we all got hammered at our invite downtown. Ill add in some pics once theyre up on facebook. Basically we rent out a whole venue, which had an open bar for a while, and then like a dance floor. In the back, there was a narrow walkway that split for guys and guys bathrooms. However, you can go past the guys side into the public section of the venue (which was blocked off from our side). Obviously, I managed to wander over. Actually, I didnt wander, I danced. By myself. I ran into some rando black guy, who was critiquing my dance moves (laughin his ass off at my whiteness). I remember trying to get this dude to show me how to break it down like he does, and I went on and on about it. I still dance like a whiteboy, so whatever.
