Ok, so I finished up poker coaching with shoottaa. This was my first go at poker coaching, so I really didnt know what to expect. I thought I had a decent grasp on the game, but I was wrong. First off, you're a fool if you are stuck at 2/4 and don't get coaching from Reid. I really think the coaching benefited a lot of the 2/4+ players, or at least the people who had the thought process for 2/4. A lot of vid's are like oh we have xy so we're are going to this... blah blah blah, but Reid will help you understand all the reasons why, so you can extend the bit of knowledge for similar situations. Effectively, he is teaching you how to think about poker, which is awesome, and worth every penny.
Reid's theory lessons are prob worth the price of the whole 8 weeks. In fact I would argue there was a theory lesson that is easily worth 2k+.
Also, I've been saying Reid, rather than shootaa or lololololol because I got to know a bit about who he is. He's available to chat outside the hours of coaching, and responds pretty quickly in the forums. So mid session, I could shoot over a hh, and he'd give me some input. Even if it's not poker related, he'll chat it up. Basically, he gives a shit about his students, and how they are doing. Some hidden EV there...
Anyways, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? :
We started coaching on that date. I did start a new DB for 2010, and am up like 9kish in 15k hands. I can def post it if the first pic doesnt get ya.
39k of it is when there are 4>players at the table, so your 6m game will definitely improve.
So I mean you you wanna move up/be awesome and own peoples faces off, sign up with Reid. If you wanna clown around and be a rakeback hero, don't.
Also, check out some of his other reviews if you dont believe me.
