Our story is not the type that stars with once upon a time. Nor does it have a happy ending. However though, it can easily win an award for the most unbelievably dumb decision ever taken by a poker network.
![]() One of the guys in our romanian poker community, who is a regular at NL1000 on a site owned by the Ipoker network, received an email last week, which I am going to partially paste here: Quote:
Dear Vlad,
XXXX (poker site name) has been put under tremendous pressure by the Ipoker Network lately to comply with the network policy. To make it short the network policy stipulates that an operator needs to maintain a balance between winning and losing customers. I am sorry to say that at the moment XXXX (poker site name) has a lot more winning than losing customers, and unless we do something immediately to rectify the situation and get in line with the network policy we will be fined sums big enough to ensure that we would be losing a lot of money. This leaves us with no other choice than to part ways with some of our most winningest customers. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes you! We would obviously have preferred to maintain you as a customer, but because of the current network rules and regulations it is absolutely impossible for us to do so. Your account has been disabled. Please get back to me about how you would like to cash out your money. Feel free to add me on Skype if you have any questions or just need to vent… Best regards,... ![]()
