Sup guys, I finally decided to do a blog on here, thought itd be fun. My name is Danny, and im 21 and am from a smallish town in northern california. I go to college at ucla and am gonna be finishing up next spring/summer with a history major. Ive played poker since my senior year in High school, when me and some friends used to play 10$ buyin games and get tanked. I wont bore u with my poker story cos its pretty standard. Right now I just finished playing on cake poker for about 5 months and did pretty well playing 2/4 thru 5/10 both 6max and HU. I just moved back to FTP/stars tonight actually.


Unfortunately I lost 6 Buyins tonight running, 9 Bi below EV(see graph/hands below). Not mad or tilted at all tho, played pretty well and just got owned by the RNG. It was definitely interesting to play on ftp and stars compared to cake. I definitely think that edge wise its not that different on cake or these sites. Players play really bad on both sites. However the overwhelming theme of the villains I played tonight was aggression. And not really good aggression, just complete spewtardom. Obv small sample size tonight, I probably only played 4-5 "regs" but all of them were very bad postflop, and pretty insane preflop. I really like playing those kind of players, but it definitely increases your variance dramatically, whereas on cake I often had very low variance matches
