Ran Hot Vs. Fish!
Posted in Poker | View Comments (0)

Finally run hot, and it was great timing because this guy on AP somehow agreed to play me HU 2 tables and deep stacked. I recorded the session, because I'm recording all my sessions at the moment, but I doubt I'll need to review this one for any reason other than hilarity. Hopefully I will be back at 1/2nl regularly very soon. I'm getting kind of sick of playing .5/1, and it's just not possible to make that much money playing as few hours as I want to.

Here's a graph of the session and a few hand histories:

Villain quit me pretty much right after this hand, but I ended up taking around $550 or so off him, so not a bad session. Hopefully I can stick to my stop loss from here on, as that is my number one goal for the moment. I think I play very good poker when I'm on my game, but I also feel like I delude myself into thinking that I play well enough when I'm tilted. I don't, especially when I'm on an extended break-even stretch (like I am right now).

PS: Am I the only one enthralled by the high stakes action going on at FTP lately? I have been checking NVG almost every day for updates. Pretty sick the amount of money that those guys toss around.
