I'd like to move to an English-speaking country

Dear readers,

I have a problem and I would like your help. Indeed, when I was a student, I wanted to learn three foreign languages which were English/Spain and Chinese but considering that I got a sickness, I was not able to pursue my studies and I do not have any major diploma. I have been looking for a job for about 2½ years but I still did not find anything.

I really would like to move to an English-speaking country such as England/United-States or Canada but I do not really know how I should proceed. Actually, I would like to study again but I am not rich enough and it costs about 10K$ so I can forget this idea.

I had in the idea to move to one of these three countries and get housed and work as an au-pair. I would like to know if someone did that in the past and could eventually help me, I would really appreciate it.

Should I contact the embassy of each country or is there another to get some information?

I guess I said enough about my problem but if you have more questions (or maybe the answer?) feel free to contact me by private message or Skype/AIM.

AIM: GodBlessMali

You can contact me on MSN as well but I will not show it in public.

Kind regards,
DrakaZ

Hello JohnnyC12,

The thing is that I am not very rich and that is why it is a bit difficult for me to move to an English-speaking country. That's why I would like to work as an au pair and know if someone already did that in the past.

But if there is another solution, feel free to tell me it ^ ^

Yeah my ex came to San Francisco from Mexico as an Au-Pair. She had a great time and I think it's definitely worth it. You gamble getting paired up with a good family or not, but hey...so is the life we choose. Go for it and don't wait on it.

Hey lostinthesaus,

Thanks much for your answer but how did she do that? I guess that some of her costs were paid by the university no? And what kind of "organization" did she join to work as an au-pair?
