Even tho I said I'm gonna quit sports betting (and I will prolly do it) I'm gonna make a last post about betting the WC games. I picked a total of 22 games and got right 18, which is about 82%, with an average of 1.50 odds. If you get 70% of them you score a profit.

Well, I scored 562.4 € placing 100 € a bet, which I think is fine for a seasonal bettor, but I'm no pro sports betting guy...

1. Argentina - Nigeria - 1, odds 1.57.. result 1-0. I had no big worries about this game, but near the end the nigerians could have equalised.. Anyways, Argentina played pretty well and Messi missed a lot of opportunities.



2. England - USA - 1, odds 1.50.. result 1-1. England started very well, scoring in the begining but Green made a huge mistake and the yankees got the draw, even tho Heskey and CO missed a lot of chances... Also, USA could have won this but they hit the post.. At that time I was like: "dude, wtf is happening??? 1 out of 2... I'm gonna lose a lot of money on this WC...



3. Netherlands - Denmark - 1, odds 1.67.. result 2-0. Had no worries about this. I knew the dutch will win this game cuz their top players were in top form, even tho Robben didn't play...



4. Brazil - Korea DPR - 1, odds 1.10.. result 2-1. Actually this bet was a mistake... I shouldn't have made it, but I thought wtf, it's free money... But, it was a hard one... Brazil struggled a bit with the asians...



5. Argentina - South Korea - 1, odds 1.38.. result 4-1. At this bet I was robbed of ~15 € because I picked it before the WC started, and after day one, the odds were ~1.50-1.55... Anyways, it was one of the easiest bets I put.



6. England - Algeria - 1, odds 1.30.. result 0-0. This time, the brits played awful and they deserved to score only a draw, even tho Lampard had some chances... At the time, I was 4 out of 6 and I was like, probably I'm gonna break even, which is not that bad after all, I just tried something different...



7. Netherlands - Japan - 1, odds 1.50.. result 1-0. Pretty narrow win for the dutch, but again they seemed to be the better team all along.



8. Italy - New Zealand - 1, odds 1.40.. result 1-1. I placed this bet at half time.. I couldn't think that the reigning world champions couldn't win against New Zealand... Of course, Italy missed a tone of chances and didn't scored the victory goal and NZ goalie became a hero. I was 5 out of 8 at that time and was pretty disappointed of how things were turning up...



9. Brazil - Cote d'Ivoire - 1, odds 1.70.. result 3-1. Easy win for Brazil, even tho the start wasn't the best one for the cariocas, but Kaka & Luis Fabiano solved the problem.



10. Portugal - Korea DPR - 1, odds 1.35.. result 7-0. I thought the odds were incredible for such a match and placed this bet. A no brainer watching the result.



11. Argentina, 1st place, Group B, odds 1.45.. result 1st place. Easy win, no worries. Argentina won 3 out of 3 games and finished first! Well done Maradona, we were wrong about your coaching abilities. You were the best football player in the world and now you can make history on the bench. GL



12. Slovenia - England - 2, odds 1.40.. result 0-1. Here I was robbed of another 15 €, cuz I placed this bet immediatly after the draw against USA... After the brits drew with Algeria the odds were like 1.55. Anyways, it was an easy win for the brits.



13. USA - Algeria - 1, odds 1.60.. result 1-0. Again, I was robbed of about 35 €, cuz I placed the bet before England vs Slovenia, immediatly after they drew against Slovenia... At this one I had to sweat, hard win for USA because they scored in the last minute, but watching the highlights they deserved the win, having endless opportunities and hitting the post. gg USA.



14. England, 1st place, Group C, odds 1.33.. result 2nd place. The retard brits missed some opportunities but hearing USA and Algeria were drawing they were happy with a 1-0 against Slovenia... Well, USA scored in the last minute and England finished 2nd having to face Germany in the last 16.. and they were punished.. 4-1... they got what deserved for ruining my bet...



15. Ghana - Germany - 2, odds 1.53.. result 0-1. Easy win, the germans proved they are serious people... but if they knew Australia will win against Serbia, they would have never scored... But first, they scored and then Australia scored...



16. Netherlands, 1st place, Group E, odds 1.65.. result 1st place. One of the safest bets I had. I love Netherlands for being underrated. I got some beautiful odds on their games which they won very very easy.



17. Brazil, 1st place, Group G, odds 1.60.. result 1st place. Same story as the Netherlands. One of the strongest teams in the world, won easily their group and I got some pretty nice odds on their games.



18. Chile - Spain - 2, odds 1.55.. result 1-2. An easy win for Spain after the 1st half. I placed this bet immediatly they lost against Switzerland, but I knew they are too good to be kicked out of the competition that soon.



19. Spain, 1st place, Group H, odds 1.83.. result 1st place. Nice bet, I put it after Chile won 1-0 against Switzerland and just before they were playing Honduras. I knew they will win both games and they will score more than the South Americans. gg Spain.



20. Argentina - Mexico - 1, odds 1.52.. result 3-1. I thought a lil bit about this, cuz last time there was overtime, but then I thought wtf, Messi can beat Mexico all by himself... well, I was wrong, it was Tevez. Congrats Argentina, hope to see you in the finals vs Brazil, Netherlands or Spain. It will be a crazy game!



21. Netherlands - Japan - 1, odds 1.44.. result 2-1. One of the easiest bets all along... The dutch won in their style, imposing their will and spending less energy than every other quarter finalist.



22. Brazil - Chile - 1, odds 1.50.. result 3-0. Easy game, easy win. Brazil is strong but they will face another strong team, Netherlands. In their last two bouts at the WC they won (USA '94, 3-2 in the quarters and France '98, 1-1 and PK in the semis).. It will be a very interesting match!



Well, this was my WC sports betting, from now on I will sit back and relax enjoying the real football.. I had Germany-England 4-1, next is Spain-Portugal, Argentina-Germany, Brazil-Netherlands, the semis and the final to enjoy... These games can't be picked it's like a coinflip.. I'm pretty pissed of not betting on Uruguay vs South Korea for those such nice odds, I think Paraguay vs Japan it will be the same, but I quit betting... I am pleased that I didn't bet on France at all and avoided Italy's games as much as possible, also I felt Spain won't win against Switzerland and Germany will do something stupid in the group stages. It seems like, I'm not that bad at betting like some ginger kid said, so all u haters go screw urselves!!!
