First hands at 4NL

I play at Ongame, so the tables are 5max. I didn't really notice much difference between 5m and 6m, except that I can play some more hands.

It took me a while to get all my mods set up because I really can't play standard tables. For the moment I'm using Ongame BetPot and I like it a lot, I will probably have a hard time going without it. So I will have to try and find a solution when my trial expires, 30$ still is a little too much at the moment, mostly because I'm not sure if I'll keep playing at Ongame.

Even at these limits you'll find some standard TAGs/LAGs (I would say, on average 1.5/table, myself not included), which in a way is suprising, but I can't expect to be the only one grinding 4NL.

I need some time to adjust. I already misplayed one hand where I missed a lot of value. I still find it a weird hand. I though some overcards caught a FD on the turn. Well, I just was wondering what the hell they are calling with here.

Quote:
NL Holdem $0.04(BB) Replayer
SB ($6.77)
BB ($2.25)
UTG ($4)
Hero ($6.08)
BTN ($3.10)

Dealt to Hero 4 4

fold, Hero raises to $0.12, BTN calls $0.12, fold, BB calls $0.08

FLOP ($0.38) T 4 5
BB checks, Hero bets $0.24, BTN calls $0.24, BB calls $0.24

TURN ($1.10) T 4 5 3
BB checks, Hero bets $0.80, BTN calls $0.80, BB calls $0.80

RIVER ($3.50) T 4 5 3 Q
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

BTN shows K T
(Pre 32%, Flop 1.0%, Turn 0.0%)

BB shows Q T
(Pre 28%, Flop 5.0%, Turn 0.0%)

Hero shows 4 4
(Pre 40%, Flop 94.0%, Turn 100.0%)

Hero wins $3.33
This hand was also a bit weird, only had a few hands on him.

Quote:
NL Holdem $0.04(BB) Replayer
SB ($3.68)
BB ($6.46)
UTG ($10.27)
CO ($3.92)
Hero ($9.32)

Dealt to Hero Q A

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.12, SB calls $0.10, fold

FLOP ($0.28) T Q 3
SB bets $0.22, Hero raises to $0.70, SB calls $0.48

TURN ($1.68) T Q 3 6
SB checks, Hero checks

RIVER ($1.68) T Q 3 6 6
SB bets $0.60, Hero calls $0.60

Hero shows Q A
(Pre 74%, Flop 90.8%, Turn 95.5%)

SB shows A T
(Pre 26%, Flop 9.2%, Turn 4.5%)

Hero wins $2.74
If anyone reads this by accident, sorry for the 4NL-content, but yeah, bankrolls don't build itself. Only up a little over 1BI though.

I accidentally misread a board in the beginning and lost a BI to that, fail.

i would suggest you save some money in real life and put enough so you can play 10NL or 25NL.. 4NL you get the most random showdowns and i personally think it will be really difficult to play "poker".. with that said

Hand 1)
bet river for sure..

Hand 2)
at 4NL I would probably raise this river

I respectfully disagree. I always thought this too: "I can't play that low, that's not poker."; it's still poker, you have to adjust to the players, the droolers (and that percentage is much higher at 4NL ofc) imo.

But yes, I'm moving up to 10NL as soon as I have 200$.

Thanks for the comment though, hope you don't take it personal.
