I have been seeing this too. The pro short stackers now have a private feeding dish of new players who just want to buy in for a little and play a bit just for fun. This week I have made a point of playing 2-3 50bb games on one side and 2 or 3 100-250bb games on the other. So far, as expected, the big bb games are consistant winners overall. But, each session there ends up being one super 50bb table where I end up 3+ buy-ins. Now if I can only figure out what makes that one table work out soo much better than the other ones, it would be great for game selection... (or it may just be luck). What do you think?

I really hate playing the 50bb games but at times they are just so juicy. I try to avoid sitting with too many short stacks though unless there is a massive drooler - i.e. something like 75/4 etc that is reasonably deep...

I would much rather play 100bb deep and I think I play much better at those tables but Stars has forced this situation on us and until it is changed I will probably move back and forth depending on how good the 50bb tables are... I think I am going to play the 100bb as default though...

I wouldn't even hate it as much if they made it 50bb min/max - that way the recreation players would still sit but it would eliminate the ratholing...
