So I have played almost 20k hands this month spread between 3/6 and 10/20 and it certainly has not gone stellar... Granted I am only stuck 2.5k which is nothing at these levels but it is more about the emotional toll it has taken on me... It has been without a doubt the most frustrating period of poker I have ever came across...

My redline(non showdown winnings) is a disaster... Just straight down... I can admit there has been some stretches that I have not played well but I can honestly say I have run like complete dogshit this month and to only be stuck what I am - well I should be happy...

The problem I am finding is that it is not the money for me but I hate losing at anything so bad that it just completely ruined my month... I really need to work on not letting things bother me but I find it a real challenge...

Anyways Stars has announced that effective Feb 10th they will be dropping the 20-50 bbgames which is bitter sweet for me... I have played a lot at those tables for the past 6-7 months because honestly the games have been good... At the same time I really do not enjoy playing them and I really miss playing without short donks... Hopefully this will make the games on Stars the way they should be... No ratholingshortstackers and a mix of rec players and regulars...

I am going to spend the next couple of weeks mixing in 40-100 BB tables just to get back in the swing of things...

On to more positive things... January saw a new addition to our family in the form of Chloe a puppy Cava-poo (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle mix)... She is pretty awesome - we have had her about 3 weeks now and she is getting settled in quite nicely.. I really did want a more "manly" dog if you will but due to various reasons had to compromise in order to get my puppy...
