I am taking Japanese, Poli Sci and ECON classes at Rutgers University (alma mater).

Few things:
1. College girls are still prettying themselves up for the first week of class.
2. My 17" laptop is too heavy for commute.
3. My 17" laptop is fugly.
4. I finally surrendered to the evil empire and got a 13" MacBook Air.

Instead of booth girls I got stuffed animals.

Out of box right next to my nearly 3 year old, 17" and 10lbs soldier that's served me well... She's just too fat, old and ugly for me to be seen in public with now.

In my defense, if Intel "ultrabooks" were actually on the market, I'd have bought one of those instead.

Up until now, I've been primarily getting students through word of mouth. However, due to black friday, I am now down to only one regular student and would love to pick up another one or two, though no more then that.

It's been a while so I'll give a quick background.

I've been coaching PLO for 3 or 4 years, taking on 20~30 students along the way with good reviews and results for my students.

Most of my students have become successful players, some of them wildly successful. I am not sure if they want their names public, but if you want references, I can get them.

In the interest of disclosure, I have not played serious poker since black friday. Bodog, Merge and the various other options are uh... unappealing for a number of reasons.

That said, I am VERY confident in my coaching abilities due to my background in teaching SATs/GMAT at Kaplan, my more methodological approach to poker and great results/reviews with former and current students.

EDIT: thanks for replies. Depending on schedule I am probably taking one more at most, if at all.

I am looking to make some videos again so I'd appreciate it a lot if I could get some HHs and/or recorded sessions of PLO to review.

Hurricane is coming.

I have the plastic hammer they handed out to kids for Thor (the movie).

I'll be standing next to my windows calling for thunder and lightning, with a scotch or two in my hand.

PS: gf got mad when I made fun of her for freaking out over a lousdy cat 2 hurricane.

We can win it again this year. I can feel it.

Black Friday sucks ass. I am down a bunch on Bodog because the software crashes on me and I can't stop myself from betting on sports. The software tilts me anyway so I just stopped playing. Now that poker has bipartisan support, I am hoping we get legislation passed before the congress goes into recess in 2012.

Till then, I am hoping the Giants win the Super Bowl, MU the CL and Yankees the World Series.

And oh yeah, I am going back to school to study Japanese for shiz and gigglez. I just can't stand sitting idly at home doing absolutely nothing.

I wonder if I could rig this to help me multitable without the aid of a mouse and keyboard.

For the past few weeks, I've been following the Yankees all over the country.

Saturday night was by far the most miserable night of my life. I showed up at the new Stadium around 6pm because the game wasn't cancelled yet and spent well over 3 hours in freezing rain before they finally made the announcement G6 (possible AL clincher) was postponed.

Miserable, hungry, wet, and dejected I drove home to greet my girlfriend, who's still pissed I went to the Yankees game on the 22nd instead of celebrating her birthday.

All that grief was worth it as I screamed my lungs out when Mo closed out G6 with a 6 out save.

and down with the Phillies.

On a different note, recently I've been thinking about spending some time in Taiwan to catch up with some of my (very) estranged family members and brushing up on my Chinese a bit.

The only thing holding me back is I am still eligible for the draft in Taiwan so until I am SURE they won't arrest me and force me to serve in the military, I'm getting nowhere near that island.

I've been working on a powerpoint presentation on preflop hand selection but there is just so much I want to say I'm having a lot of trouble just organizing the notes.

WCOOP owned me, I signed up for a couple but spewed my way out of all of them lasting no more than an hour in any.

Still, ESPN has Yankees listed at 100% to make playoffs so life is good as far as I am concerned, until October anyway.
