For those that read my infrequently updated blog you may remember that I'm in the process of building a new house. Well actually a group of nice Mexican workers are building it but I'll be living in it when they finish.

For a while the progress was pretty slow while they finalized the plans/got the permits/did other boring stuff, but the past week or so has seen a ton of progress get made.

It started with just a basement...











So that's been pretty exciting to see. We should officially close on the house in about 3 months. It's pretty rewarding to see what all the grinding and hard work at and away from the tables can do.

When all is said and done it'll be 4 bedrooms/3.5 baths. And no, the port-a-potty out front is not included in that calculation.
