Had a good May. 40k hands. Didn't reach my profit goal but overall pretty happy with my game. I think my focus and tilt control improved, although still not satisfied with it (who really is..?). I need to continue practicing mindfulness. Besides helping my poker game, I think it will help be more balanced, happy, and self aware.

The last week was kind of brutal though. I'm down about 18 buyins in the last 10k hands, and played kinda of bad this week and ran bad too.I was busy apartment hunting, had gotten back from a weekend away, and in general something was off in my game. Maybe lack of focus, and not enough mental rehearsal (you know what I mean if you saw my video!). I plan to meditate 20 min a day this month. I slacked off towards the end, but I think it actually helps me at the tables.

On a positive note, wife and I narrowed down the apartment search to 1 place we really like. It's not "balla", but a very nice 2 bedroom hardwood floors, large balcony, highrise place in a busy location and safe neighborhood. Best feature though is indoor pool and indoor basketball court. I plan to swim everyday in the winter. I hope I can stick to it, because going to the gym in thet middle of winter really sucks.

Thinking about topics for my next video. I think I will do another powerpoint/HEM theory video. The feedback from the last one was encouraging, and I feel I have a lot to offer in this department of video making.

Going to Vegas sometime late June or early July. Have some family commitments to juggle, but def gonna be there for NBA summer league and end of WSOP. Tentatively staying with Bobbo (if he has room left). It's a great group of guys and look forward to some degenery, basketball discussion etc. I don't like live poker or tourneys, but Vegas is still cool for a few weeks a year for me. I don't have many poker friends that I meet regularly in person, and meeting like minded people once a year at least keeps me sane.
