was mildly disappointing in that i tried to accomplish a few things on my list of goals and got totally shut down. Basically my roomate had gotten groceries on the weekend so im sitting around with absolutely nothing to eat waiting for stuff to materialize so i can start cooking more. Now im strongly considering walking to a grocery store but the only thing is i go home for the weekend in 2 days so i dont want to get a bunch of stuff and have it go bad.

Another ****ty thing was that i was looking on the humane society's website i wanted to volunteer at and its the gayest thing ever. In order to be able to take the dogs out of there cages and walk them, which is what i want to do, you have to be 21 years of age. All i can think of when i see this is the "WTF is this ****?" picture that always shows up in bbv threads. I mean i'm old enough to gamble, buy liquor and cigarettes if i felt so inclined yet i cant walk a ****ing dog? Anyways i emailed them seeing if they have any leniency in that category as if not the only work they would have for me would be feeding the animals and cleaning out cages, and as much as i want to help out i want to enjoy it at least and im 1000000000% sure i would not enjoy scooping crap.

Onto poker though im starting a new goal and that is basically to win $100,000 before summer starts without playing anything higher than 5/10. Now that means i will once again start that ticker with hands played and money won everyone get ready

Now onto two hands from yesterday:

------------------
HAND #1
------------------

Party Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BTN: $654.26
SB: $1,609.99
BB: $400
UTG: $525.60
Hero (CO): $400

Pre-Flop: 8 8 dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $12, BTN calls $12, 2 folds

Flop: ($30) 3 T 7 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $20, Hero calls $20

Turn: ($70) J (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $50, Hero calls $50

River: ($170) 2 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $111, Hero raises to $318 and is All-In, BTN calls $207

Results: $806 Pot ($2 Rake)
BTN showed A T and WON $804 (+$404 NET)
Hero showed 8 8 and LOST (-$400 NET)

This hand i just outright hate and ill give credit to the villain in that he read my hand for exactly what it was. I know i for sure bet all 3 streets as villain, but he almost snapped my river shove which i give him credit for, as regardless of whether or not my hand makes sense its still hard to call off 50bb's with 2nd pair. Anyways i should be c-betting this board a lot but i decided to mix it up which i think is fine, the turn i should just be folding though, he's got a ton of equity most likely with all his bluffs and a lot of times he already has me beat. Surprisingly this was the only hand im really unhappy with from yesterday, as the rest just seemed standard spots.
