I feel like my stay in vegas is startin to wear down on me a bit. Still having a blast but definitely miss home a bit. Its been just over 2 weeks and I have about 12 days left here so still a ways to go.

Been droppin some cash as of late, took some shots at 25/50 and didnt run too well and the software at pokerstars fucked me over... Hate how once your timebank is out at the fast tables, ur hand just gets auto folded or auto checked. It folded my hand which I was 90% sure to be ahead and checked my hand which I was running a bluff on and was 70% sure that it would work. I think the crappy software that doesnt let u kno how much time u have left to click buttons cost me about $1500 so that was shitty.Probably will have to grind 5/10, 10/20 to build my BR back up a bit and make me feel better.

probablilty organized a pretty sweet leggo party. good food, enuf alcohol and lots of security lol. Nice to meet ppl that I have spoken to online a fair amount but never seen in person so that was pretty cool.

I should be able to play the main event, i've just gotta scrape up the cash as everyone thats buying action seems to only have online cash to ship

Jeff, me and Steve decided to head to Blush a couple nites ago.We hit up the club with Nick (Unknown soldier) and Somnius along with some of their friends. They have a table going so we sit and have a couple drinks. I go and socialize with some of the girls that are nearby. They have like wings on and halos, turns out that they were from Vancouver too which is my hometown. Ended up talking to quite a few of them and after spending some time with them most of them were pretty cool. One of them was particularily fun to hang with

At the end of the night a guy named Dean who supposedly hooked us up with the table tells us that he has a limo coming and wants to take us to Crazy Horse. Jeff however knew that it wuz a whore house more than a strip club so we were able to avoid being hustled by him since he was probably paid to bring us there and then would probably try to swindle us into spendin a bunch of cash. Once we told him that we werent goin to go, his buddy that was also promoting the place started to bash the other strip clubs saying they werent that great and that Crazy Horse was the best, blah blah doing a standard sales pitch. Dean didnt throw down any cash for the table where he was chillin at for most of the night which was pretty shitty but apparently he didnt have anything to drink so w/e.

Last night we ended up going to Playboy club/ Moon at the Palms with steve, robin, jeff, tim, and myself. We were lucky enuf to get a table on a saturday night and apparently stole M night shamalam's ( the director of the village, 6th sense, etc) table. The place had a great view, you could basicaly see a large chunk of vegas and it just looked really cool with all the lights glowing in the night darkness. We probably had the hottest bunny serving our table too which was nice and we had a really good time socializin with the ladies. I met a lot of different ppl that night, some with interesting stories and it was a good time... but at the end of the night we realized that Robin Ripper was missin. I told Steve to call him up but it didnt get an answer. As we were leaving the security told us that they had removed him from the club and he might need an ambulance he was in such bad shape but luckily he was coherent enuf outside and they decided against it. We picked him up and helped him get back to the house where puking went down with most of my fellow clubbers. I didnt drink as much as them since I drove and prefer not to be wasted when Im running game but still dont feel great today haha.

The new sleeping hours of going to bed at 5am and waking up at 2pm are gettin weird to get used to. I've only been up for a little while now and its 6pm lol so messed up. Anyways Im going to try to unwind a bit before going to try to grind some more. I also hear the leggo party is comin up in over a week and it sounds like its going to be a great event. Lots of stuff going to go down and it sounds like it will be done right so come out! I also hear that brock lesnar is moving into the house the day after to live until the fight lol.

Been getting a lot of work in and having fun at the same time. Made a video yesterday for bluff Europe that will be comin out in like 15 min chunks I believe. When I tried to record, the video was a bit choppy and messed up my game play a bit but I think the video will still turned out okay. There were some spots were I ended up raising 4x by accident pf bcuz of the lag but what can you do when your playin off a laptop.

Then Bttech came by and he did a video, then unknown soldier dropped by and did one as well. Was good talking strategy with those guys as they have a pretty good idea of what they're doing and it can really help you think about implementing new stuff into your game or refining the moves in your inventory.

We then hit the club with Unknown Soldier, Somnius and friends, but I guess I'll wait to tell that story later when I get the pictures from jeff

Hey just at the vegas house with a bunch of the guys. Lot of cash game players here, stayin with matt (probability) and will have some pics soon to follow.

The first prop bet has already been made, Steven said he would be able to eat 2 tubs of ice cream in 2.5 hours wihtout throwing up and there's about $400 dollars against him doing it right now so we'll try to film it or something and throw it up on youtube.

Played credit card roulette for a small late night meal last night. The waiter gave back one credit card at a time till it was heads up between me and Jeff. I had to sweat it out but luckily got mine back and didnt get stuck with the bill. Free food just tastes so much better!

Hey just goin to post a quick blog entry before I catch some z's. Its been a pretty good day since I ran decent in poker and made some dough before watching the penguins win the stanley cup.

Glad to see them win it since they lost in the finals last year and detroit fans are kinda spoiled since the team has always done very well every single year. Was an exciting game with Crosby gettin injured and unable to play half of the game on a semi dirty hit by franzen. Just the way he hit 87 seemed like his knee was pointed out to do more damage than a regular hit would have. Luckily the penguins stepped up their game and found a way to win.

Just watched a crazy video bout some woman in jerusalem who bought a new mattress for her mom and then she threw out the old one. Little did she know her mom apparently kept her life savings in there which amounted to close to a million dollars! Worse part was this shit was on the news and they were saying that the money hadn't been found yet as the woman had been lookin in the dumps but failed to find it yet. I imagine there will be many search crews put together to find that money if it hasnt already been stolen.

Only a couple more days before i hop on a plane and fly into America. Need to pack but looking forward to a change of scenery, and hopefully will be able to let poker overtake me and make some serious money/progress!

Been taking some shots at 25/50 and been playing lot of 10/20 as well but running pretty bad at both. Getting coolered pretty much at every limit so far this month which sucks especially when taking shots at the 5knl game. There's still a lot of time left in June though so hopefully I will be able to turn things around. The only way to get out of a hole is to stop digging. Ive also made 2 mistakes so far that I usually NEVER make so maybe the heat is starting to get to me. The kind of plays that make me pretty upset at my play and feels like Im burning money...

1st one, 6max 2knl game. utg limps in and its folded around to me in the bb with 79 o/s. I check it and we see a flop of 779. I check utg checks, turn is a 8, i check he bets like 30 into the 40 pot I call. river comes an ace, I donk 80 into the 110 pot and he raises to 480 and I ended up putting him all in for 1k more but looking back I dont like it at all. Even though I have a full house here, I dont think Im gettin called by much except TJ, 88, 99, AA, and maybe 78. And the way he overbet the river I did have the feeling that he was pretty damn strong and usually just flat.

2nd one, 5knl game fullring... folded around to blind vs blind against a guy I havent played before. Sb raises to 150 and I flat with AJ in the BB. board came down 799ss. He bets 220 into 300 and I call. turn J, he checks I bet 450 into 700ish and villain calls. river came an 8 and for some reason I didnt realize that it put up a 1 card straight on the board. I ended up betting like 1100 into 1600 and gettin checkraised having to throw my hand away. Its not a super terrible mistake to make on the river since I could be gettin some thin value from hands as the flush ended up missing and he pretty much needed a ten or QQ+ to have me beat since I never think he has a 9 but still dont know if I could value bet that thin into the guy without having any history between us.

Oh well I've still made some pretty nice laydowns but def could have saved myself a couple grand from playing my usual A game. I've gotta get ready for vegas pretty soon and probably will do some collaboration videos with the guys out there and make some interesting vids. Hope you guys are doing well, later all

hey writing a blog entry at 2am... my sleep schedule is continually messed up and I keep going to sleep at around 2-3am everyday and waking up at like 11 or 12. Feels shitty to wake up so late and miss so much of the day but its kind of what ive gotten used to. At least when I go downtown and hit up the clubs, I end up staying awake till 4am no problem whereas if I went to bed at like 12 everyday I'd probably be fallin asleep on the way home.

Leaving for vegas in 15 days so that'll be pretty sweet. I'm hoping to put behind a lot of distractions and really immerse myself into poker which I havent done in a while. It might be difficult for me to workout while im down there but some of the guys in the house im stayin at said they would be down to go hit the gym so hopefully i'll stay in shape for the month im away. When I'm back home in north delta, I hit the gym like 4 or 5 days a week, spend time with friends, play video games and hit the bars but in vegas I should be more focused on just grinding... altho since Im with like 5 guys, a pool table, and video games I hear are being brought down as well then I might be not grindin as much as I plan haha. I guess we'll have to see.

Either way if anybody has any good reccomendations on shows to see in Vegas while Im there I'd like to hear it. Im goin to see some more cirque du soleil shows ( i saw Ka and mystere last year) but not sure what else is good.

May has come to an end and another month is in the books. I started playing tournies this month and have only cashed like 1 so far... I think I played two 500 buckers, one 100 bucker and four or five 215ers and cashed in only one 215 so far but I've been pretty happy with my play. Just been losing coinflips at bad times deep in tournies before the money or busting out early due to coinflips once again. I can easily comprehend why they are called flipaments. Oh well I will score big one day.

Nite guys Im goin to try to get some z's

Ive started to play tournaments in the past few weeks, mainly just the 215 or 500 buckers since the prizes will actually give me a rush to play for and I wont feel like I'm wasting my time. Usually when Im playing tournaments Im not really too focused early on and have a bunch of cash tables going... I'll shut down my cash games if I end up going deep but so far I've only got deep in one of the 215 sundays and pretty much lost flips in the other 7 or 8 ive played and couldnt get chips when I needed it. I figure if there's so many bad players in tournaments that it will always be profitable and I wanna get a large score & a piece of the pie so to speak. Ended up finishing like 350th outta 5k ppl but obv wasnt a big score at all.

There's something about tournaments and going deep that gives you that rush and thrills you dont get playing cash games every day, this probably happenin due to the chance to make some huge money by winning the whole tourny. I havent won a tourny yet, best i've finished was 2nd a long time ago in some smaller tourny with not a huge field on UB so I am still lookin forward to taking one down. The players are usually pretty horrendous other than the other pros so I should be able to cash one hopefully sooner than later as it almost feels like Im giving away money right now playin tournies but meh Im sure I'll profit one day.

Played some cash games today and played like crap droppin a couple buyins at 10/20 pretty quick ... possibly due to being tired and Im pretty disappointed with how I played. Looking back I guess I only played one hand terribly and got coolered pretty bad in another spot ...got unlucky on both hands since both players made nuts when they needed to and I kept throwin chips in. I tend to get upset a lot more when I play bad than when I run bad which is a good recipe for always playing my A game and not tilting when getting bad beat.

anyways Im sure im just rambling now and am goin to eat dinner and watch "the curious case of benjamin button". Later playas

I've just been busy trying to play poker lately and working out consistently at the gym. Poker has been feelin like a grind lately for some reason and its been tough to get in a lot of hands. I have been playing well however and I'm happy with my game. I feel like I'm feeling game flow better than I ever have and its allowed me to play pretty confidently at 10/20nl and dabbled in 25/50nl a tad but only when games were half way decent since I dont feel like flippin and having 10k+ swings everyday.
Hopefully when Im in vegas and surrounded by poker players, I'll feel more up to putting in the hands. I'm gettin pretty excited for the month trip and I think it'll be pretty wicked.

Pokerstars has just implemented a pretty sweet security addition to the site which I hope fulltilt will try to follow suit soon. Having a PIN to log into ur account with numbers that are randomly placed for you to click will pretty much protect most players from keyloggers I would think.
I should make this blogpost longer but im dead tired... hope everything is goin good for you guys

I've only played in one ftops event so far (the first one) where I ended up bustin out like 700th where 500 were paid but that really didnt matter since money wasnt really good until the final 20 or so. Lost a flip for 1/3 of my stack and then really needed to try to chip up which I couldnt and ended up getting all in A6 vs 88 and made 2 pair but he spiked trips on the river. Oh well, I think I played really well in the tourny although I am a bit inexperienced. I watched Seabeast's vids on tournies and learned a couple useful nuggets but I think I've had an intuitive feel for what has been needed to be done in different stages of the tournies anyway.

I was going to play quite a number of tournies today but alas it is mother's day so no ftops or sunday tournies as I am going out for dinner with my mom / family and would be unable to go deep in a tourny and go to dinner at the same time so that sucks. But at least I got to get in cash games right?

Unfortunately I lost like 4 flips and got coolered a bunch and lost like 4k but oh well I played pretty well and luckily 3 of the flips happend at 600nl, coolerage mainly at 1knl... going to hope this month can turn around compared to last month where it was one of the months where you feel like you cant get any momentum going and ended up havin a rough month. I think it probably is due to running super hot for the first 3 months of the year so hopefully I have paid back what I owe to the poker gods now and will start printing some money.

Anyways Im going to run and play some more pokah tonight, hopefully win some cash and happy mothers day to all the females with children out there
