So I was pretty happy with the much anticipated update from full tilt poker. They promised to help run the ratholers out of the site and they followed through beautifully. It will now be interesting to see how many shorties are going to flock to pokerstars and possibly mess up the games there. Obv if u play like 100nl or lower it likely wont be a problem with such vast number of players but msnl and hsnl will probably feel it.

I played the rush games to see what it was all about and I found it pretty fun and enjoyable. I think there's really 2 optimal ways to play the games and probably fun to switch back and forth between the 2 styles. Maybe i'll disclose the strategy somewhere in the forums or in a video... It seems like there's a lot more 3betting and stuff in the games but in the end its all going to just come down to strategy vs strategy given that there is no gameflow or reads for the most part. Almost like a crapshoot at some point, there's a lot of decent players mixed in with bad and I have no idea who does what at the moment but thats probably how the game will usually play out. Hence, crapshoot. If there was a time to come up with a balanced strategy that would crush a poker game more than an exploitable strategy, rush poker would probably be it.

Its probably a game I would play whenever I feel like gambling it up and jsut messin around. Obv not going to be more profitable than playin regular tables but still can beat the game for a pretty penny.

FTP must feel like geniuses to be honest. Everyone enjoys the games or at least a large enuf player pool does and they are raking in the cash like no other with such large number of hands being played.

I think that it did help me get used to playing a ton of hands quickly and thinking faster as I was 4 tabling the rush games so I think if I wanted to in teh future i'll just fire up like the max amount of tables I can fit on my screen at 200nl/100nl and grind it out that way for a better winrate and have about the same amount of enjoyability.

Aside from that I've been grindin it out at 5/10nl and 3/6nl trying to recover from losing 13k in an hour playing bigger games and i've made back about 8G today and yesterday so its been going pretty well. I've been running real good as a makeup for runnin like shit at the higher games but I wouldve liked to win one of the 10k coinflip pots preferably at 25/50nl instead of runnin good at 1knl games for a day which amounts to pretty much the same thing. But cant complain too much as thats how poker goes sometimes and hoping to still book a winning month if I can continue to win in the last week and a half.
