I've had a number of people contacting me about whether or not I will lower my coaching rate or accept a profit sharing type of deal but my rate is what it is and I only give a bit of a discount for 10hrs+ cash up front.

Buuuuut I've decided to do some group coaching which means I can offer some mentoring at a lower price... what I'm thinking is once a week we'll do coaching on a day thats acceptable for the group members. Group of 4 students where we do two sweat sessions per person (~hour long each sess with some time at the end for questions) in rotation so I can give advice to each individual on how to improve his or her game and then sweat them again to see what else they can improve on or how well they implemented what I taught them. From each sweat sess, the other members will be able to learn and pickup concepts or ask questions so that we can all work through things together. So for 8 hours of coaching for the group, I'll be charging $125 per hour which is going to be $1000 altogether.

Obviously 1 on 1 coaching gives more attention to your game every session we do together but group coaching will also give you fresh perspectives on things just by seeing how others play as well and maybe we'll get some good conversation going during questions. The main benefit is obviously that it'll be wayyyy cheaper than 1 on 1 coaching which I'm hoping will be able to help out a lot of the players who can't afford $300/hr but have been seeking some help from me.
