this is over the past 2 days. frustrating but i have been sticking to my stop loss which is good. im a little rusty not playing my best and have been running poorly. w/e hopefully it turns around

wow aggr stats pretty low ill have to work on that

played sparingly the past 3 days. actually not at all today. i won like $30 two days ago but dropped 175 yesterday. i didnt play well and of course some of it has to do with variance. not concerned with the money too much, although i was hoping to take a shot at 100huplo somewhat soon, but i was in a very nice rhythm and i feel like i was knocked out of it.

this is the first hand i played vs this guy. i almost shipped on the turn since it was a complete blank and as ling as he had a draw with one card to come and not a set i would be in ok shape. when he bet on the river i figured he hit a straight and almost folded but just couldn't for such a small bet.

this hand went well even tho the turn was one of the worst cards i could see. my hands were kind of tied on the turn so i had to check. then he insta shoved and i felt like it was a weak spaz shove so i called. i guess he could have had a vulnerable boat but i think it was a good call bc it seemed so weak.

played a couple sessions today. started off playing/running bad and had to take a break bc of my stop loss. then i played a bit more and hit my stop loss for the day and stopped playing. it was only like 5pm then so that really sucked. later that night i decided i would play a little more and stop if i lost $30. i ended it up winning everything back and breaking even on the day. combo of playing/running well.

played/ran much better in my second session today. idk what changed, but i ran hot, played well, and found some weak opponents which all combined equals me putting in a nice session. after looking at my embarrassingly low aggression stats form last session i made an effort to be a more aggro and mix it up some. i also played faster which i think makes people think u are more aggro than u actually are. in i think 2 matches i busted opponents with top two pair vs a lower two pair and i credit it mostly to the speed at which i was playing. i might be over valueing this some, but i think it helps.

just played a session. i really didnt like how it went. idk i just felt like i didnt play very well and didnt run well either. all in all i dropped a buy in so thats not too bad money wise, but idk i played bad after i had been playing well my last couple of sessions.

i played some better opponents today, but this one guy i played for like 113 and just couldnt stack him. he called literally almost every c bet and just never really folded. it was very frustrating not being able to pick up a hand to stack him, but there were a couple of hands where i missed a lot of value.

i didnt realize i was playing so passively. i definitely need some work on playing vs more aggro players. one thing i need to do is get more value w/o the nuts. there were a couple of spots where we would go to showdown with the 3rd vs 4th nuts or something and i miss a big bet or something.

there were a lot of medium size pots but none i really feel like posting any. ill probably end up playing later, hopefully better than i just played.

played a little bit tonight things went well. vs pretty much any opponent the start of the match is so key. i think people just stick to their first impression so much that if you can 3 bet and c/r some flops within the first 5 mins of the match you can get action for the next hour. im going to make sure i always start out more aggressive, although it can be hard when there just arent many opportunities bc i obviously dont want to spew.

i played a good amount yesterday. it was very up and down. right off the bat i was up a buy in. then i was down like 120 and had to take a break bc of the rules i set up. when i got back i knew if i lost 30 more dollars i was supposed to quit. i think i lost like 25 more to be down a total of 145 then went on a nice tear and finished out the day up about 90. pretty crazy. im happy about my play for the most part and identified some mistakes i made, although there a two spots im still not sure about.

i played like 20 hands today too and ended up like 3 dollars so im going to post those results with yesterdays.

so for the past 2 days ive been playing some hu plo. idk why i got the urge to play but i did. im not very good, but its a lot of fun and luckily i havent played anyone very good so i have been doing ok. i think once i get down the hand strengths in hu a little better i should find some more success. i do have a strict stop loss in place. 2 per session and 3 on the day. also i can only play one table, which is partly to manage the swings and bc i will learn the most this way. i have found a good amount of hu vids i can watch too so hopefully that will help as well. ive played several sessions but im just going to post results from the beginning of the month until now bc i dont feel like filtering through all the sessions and no one session has really stood out that much anyway.

the rake kind of sucks, but i still think i can probably make more hu plo than 6 max as long as i stay focused.

this hand is very marginal. in my first prob 500 hands i did a ton of min raising, which i still like but havent been doing as much recently. but this opponent ran me over before i realized how infrequently he actually had a hand. still, i was fortunate to get this in good.
