LP,

I'm sorry I have not blogged in a while (for those who enjoy reading my blog at least). I've been busy finishing up school, as well as being very frustrated with poker. I've been on a nasty, nasty downswing (after ~30k hands, I'm down 50+bi in equity).

I finally had a good upswing though, yesterday! I made $400 exactly (8bi) in last night's 2hr session. Now I'm stuck $480 on the stake (started at $1500 on March 13th) overall. I'm only allowed to 4 table, according to the deal, so I hope you all understand why I've only played 30k hands in this time...in addition to massive frustration and school stuff.

Hands:

What are your thoughts on this hand? Villain is a 27/24, and I'm a 29/24 (lol) and being very aggro at the table. I squeeze, get the call from the CO opener and c/rai on flop. The stack sizes make this hand a bit shitty, imo, since I have 100bbs to the flop in a reraised pot. This guy was pretty aggro...should I check/call flop and c/f turn unless I improve...? In this case, the turn was a heart, so a c/rai would have probably happened anyway. Do I bet/fold? No real history against villain, but I feel he's the type to float here or bet small pairs on later streets when checked to.

Interesting HU hand...

I open with A2o, he calls. I cbet flop, he c/r (wtf) and I flat him. He fires the turn, I raise him, he calls. He checks the river. Do you guys like my value shove? I take AK out of his range. I put him on something like Kx (possibly as high as KJ or KQ). If he had a 5, wouldn't he just shove the turn to a raise (it's gettin drawy, for value, etc). Anyway, he checks river, and I ship for value. Thoughts? Vs an unknown (he's a 16/8) that can tell im very laggy and aggressive, is this play good? If not, what should be my minimum shipping hand? What do you put him on/expect him to show up with here?

Enjoying the relaxing summer for now...and got a 3.57 this semester!! First and only time I'll ever make dean's list lol. And greatly enjoying Arrested Development in HD on streaming Netflix,

Please let me know what you all think of the hands above!! Comments are fun...lol. More posts to come. I've plugged some big leaks in my game (for NL$50 they're leaks, at least), and I'm looking forward to seeing some immediate results if I continue to run okay.
