First Live Game in a While

LP,

Went to my first live game in a while...it was a 1/3 with optional straddles to whatever (standard was $6, occasionally $15). Starting stacks $300, but eventually some stacks got up to $800-$1k range. Game plays pretty fast because of one or two guys, with the rest being pretty taggy.

Some interesting hands from that game:

The main mark in the game was this like Arabian businessman fish...we'll refer to him as ABF. He was like mid 40s.
Guy to my left was Phil Ivey look-aline/wanna be. We'll call him PIWB. He was ~30
There was a tight asian lady...in her 20s. She's TA.

Early on (few hands in), I could tell ABF was the target. $300 effective stacks. Anyways, guy to my left limps, ABF limps, and 3 other limps, I have the bb with 88. I pop it up to $26 (pot was like $15 pre counting my ships. Fold, ABF calls, folds around. Flop is K85 (zomg set), with two hearts. I fire out like $35, he thinks and calls. Turn is an offsuit 10. I check, going for the c/rai, since I was pretty sure this guy was peeling/floating me...but he checks behind. River is an offsuit 4. I check, he bets $65, I ship, he folds. Kthanxbai. Not having to show my hand there was AWESOME, imo.

Later on, the game was pickin up...this hand got my stack pretty big...me and PIWB have been talking a lot, and we both understand that we both think we perceive ourselves as hotshots lol. I feel like he got the impression i jus wanted to outplay him.
UTG limps, PIWB makes it $20, I cc with 34hh, and one other call from a random guy. Me and PIWB have ~$500 effectively. Flop comes 245, two clubs. He fires $40, I think a bit and call...was contemplating raising, but then I realized I'm raising myself off the hand a lot of the time, since I can't call a shove w these stacks. Turn is an offsuit 6. He checks, and I quickly fire $110. He kinda tanks for 30secs and calls. River is an offsuit 8, he quickly checks, and i quickly fire $275. He goes into the tank, and finally calls (which i figured he would). He bitched FOREVER after this hand btw, lol.

My most interesting hand was when tight asian (TA) limps MP, button opens to $20 (kinda readless, weird asian guy with a pokerstars jacket), PIWB calls, I call with 78 from BB, and one limper next to me calls (I'm kinda readless...he's pretty solid I think, but a bit splashy in his pf calling). Flop is K82, two hearts. Everyone checks around. Turn is an 7s (two FDs now on board)...GIN. Tight asian lady who limped fires $60, and I think a bit and jack it up to $210 (she prob had ~$500 behind). Guy to my left TANKS, and ships with 5 secs left after getting the clock called on him. Asian lady instaships, and I'm left in a nasty little pickle. I tank, and fold my hand face up. Guy to my left refused to show until the river, which blanked. Tight asian lady rolled over K8o (wtf?) and dude next to me had 78o also. I was very proud of myself for that fold...considering it was like $300 on top (getting 2:1 on a double FD board). I put tight asian on a set, and the other guy on a huge turned combo draw.

Won $900 exactly, which was quite cool. So will grind online and try to plug some leaks and see what it do.

BTW how do I post pics on the blog? I can't find out how to upload them from comp...want to post EV graph, as per request of someone who commented on my last blog.

*EDIT: Thank you JaymesBond for explaining how to upload pics!!

i feel like you sucked out, super coolered someonem or got it in with a combo draw and got there, since you decided to not post exactly how you managed to win 900 dollars.

Well I profited...$40pf+$40flop+$110turn+$275 river on the 34hh hand...so +$465.
Profited $133 on the 88 hand.
Lost $230 on the 78o hand.
So essentially $365 gain on those hands. One hand I got in aces vs unknown hand for $200 profit (he didn't show his hand...went raise, reraise, all in...he was a donk so prob had like AJ).
I didn't throw in the pots where I picked them up after a cbet postflop. Or one hand where ABF opened to $25, one coldcaller, and I rr to $125 pre with AK, he coldcalls, and I cbet a 244r flop to take it down. So thats about $700, plus $$ for winning pots cbetting, a few squeezing, and one bluffraise in a heads up pot. No coolers on anyone, nor did I suck out, so don't be an ass. I only listed the interesting hands, but that doesn't mean I included every big pot.
