So as of March 24th my men's basketball league starts.
As of right now I am in what is probably the worst shape of my life.
My goal between now and then is to do cardio at least 8 times out of the 12 days I have. And to get in and lift 4-5 times possibly. The cardio is more important though.
So as of now I'll make this a Poker/Exercise Blog for motivation, feedback, encouragement, etc.
Day 1: 25 min jogging on treadmill 4.5-5mph, took two short breaks to catch my breath(my lungs are easily in worse shape than any other muscle right now). Also spent ten minutes on theross country maching doing short burst of speed and very slow repititions in between.
Goal for tomorrow. Run 30 minutes this time with one to zero breaks to catch my breath. Gonna have to punish my lungs and try to build some of my heart back to where I was a couple years back or so. I feel pretty pathetic right now but I guess that's how it goes!
From my past posts, I am on the rebound and slowly playing better. My amount of spewy plays has decreased quite a bit and I am slowly getting better at pinning ranges on people. Finally decided to drop down to nl100 before it was too late and had a nice session there that has mildly boosted my confidence. I'm glad if all else fails I could easily 12 table nl100 for a solid profit.
Gonna do my best to finish the month out solid. My sleep schedule is EFFED right now because of work. Basically not going to bed until 11am or so. I'm usually too tired when I first get up to play in the games and I go to work at 11pm. Gonna have to gogogo right when I get up or hit the games asap when I get to work. My internet at work sucks though and will not run FTP, gonna have to suck it up and spread games between carbon and cake.
Also bought a new pair of Asics today for jogging, I have huge feet and it was them or a pair of NB cross trainers. The guy at Big 5 said Asics are basically the nuts for jogging next to Nike, and I'm not a fan of Nike jogging shoes so yay for me! They are super comfy too
I kind of want to submit a video to Leggo, anybody know if they are doing this at all right now, or have a link?
