So this morning I get woken up by a knock on my door from two kids, telling me that there's a huge snake on the hood of my car. I walk outside to check it out and sure enough there it is, wrapped around the front wheel.

Soon enough the whole neighbourhood was crowding round (well, two different families) asking if they could take pictures with it lol. One of the guys in the rabble of townsfolk informed me it was a Diamond Python, and story seems to check out. According to my friend the internet it is "Non-venomous but can inflict a painful bite. Teeth can break off and remain embedded in the victim."





Can Australia get a little less cliched for a second? I live in a quiet suburban neighbourhood next to the beach, and I still have to live through Boa vs Python first thing in the morning.
