How hard is it to make 23,454 vpps in a month? I don't normally play 6max or FR but would like to get to supernova this year. The most vpps per month I've made was only 13k or so (all HU). Anyway, this might be laughable to most people, but if people could let me know how hard this might be (slash worth it) please let me know. Playing 100nl and 200nl.

Thanks

August was a very good month for me. It feels good because this is my best month ever. Also, I am comming off of my worst month ever (and first losing month) in July. My results are all HU 100nl and HU 200nl.

Stayed at the MGM at Foxwoods Wed. and Thurs. night. Played a little poker then had some friends come up for Thursday night. About broke even pokerwise, but won some money playing Texas Holdem Bonus the table game. Anyone ever played that? I was just messing around with a few of my buddies and ended up doing pretty well.

Can anyone help me out by swapping some full tilt money for some pokerstars money. Im looking to play a few miniFTOPS events on full tilt. If anyone can swap like $200-$300 that would be great. PM me or leave a comment here.

I have a few references with whom i've swapped money with: Drewgle and WhySoSerious

I'm pretty sure I got owned in this hand. I'm still confused by the hand and don't remember any history between me and the other player. My computer crashed so I don't have the holdem manager version but I posted the hand from pokertableratings. Hopefully it works.

I overshoved the river as a bluff, and pretty sure I got owned even though I won the hand. 200nl HU. Thoughts from some better poker players?

That is my question. I'm about to buy a nice watch and my brother comes along and tells me he'd never pay that much for a watch. Meanwhile, he's a pretty big lawyer, but is very conservative in spending. I don't get it but whatever. Anyway do I buy the watch or not?

Hey all,

Haven't posted in a while, but figured this would be as good a time as any to give a quick update. I've had a very good December playing 100nl and 200nl HU. Mostly this is due to the fact that I haven't been tilting as much as usual.

After comming across Matt's post about the new Leggo coach Boywonder, I realized just how important controlling your tilt can be. Boywonder posted about his yearly results in 2+2 that "Let the doubters doubt, but as always I maintain that 80 or 90 % of the results above are due to emotional stability, 10 or 20 % to the technical game itself."

Last night, I started my session quickly down about 6 or 7 buyins playing 200nl HU. Normally I would have gone on to spew/tilt away a crazy more amount of buyins. I almost just quit the 2 HU matches I was playing so I wouldn't tilt. But then I rememberd the Boywonder post and realized that there is NO reason for tilt to be in someone's game. So I kept my emotional control in check and managed to finish the session up a buyin and a half. Thus proving to me that EMOTIONAL CONTROL is key when trying to beat HU.

So last night I was drunk and decided to play some 400nl HU. I sat at every person's table and only one person would actually play me. I've never seen more bumhunters in my life. It was insane. That doesn't happen as much at 200nl and and 100nl. I mean I have decent tableratings stats, but since these 400nl regs are so stupid they probably didn't look to see that I don't ever play 400nl.

I guess I'm just mad because there was one donk that sat with me and hit and ran me immediately. Then I sat at a regs table and he played me for a few hands (10 maybe), sucked out on me in a big pot then left. His comment was "we're both winning players I don't see this going anywhere." Well that's great pal, but then don't sit with me till you win a big pot then leave.

Sorry for the rant.

Obviously I know that heaters can't last forever, but a small percentage of me wanted to believe that they could. I was running sick hot over the last 2 weeks booking 35 buyins at NL100 HU and around 5 buyins at NL200 HU. Don't know that exact buyin numbers because I don't use a HUD anymore since it stopped working. I actually play alot better without a HUD. Shoutout to Probability for talking about this recently, but does anyone else play better without a HUD?

Anyway, ran terrible and dropped about 6 buyins playing NL200 HU tonight. It's cool though because I played pretty well and am finally brought back to reality that I can't always run like god.

Lets hope I start to heat up again though. GL at the tables

Does that make sense to anyone? Im on a HUGE downswing this last week and a half. I've takin a few buyins off some very good players HU, some of which were red pro's on full tilt (yes I know this doesn't always mean they're good). But I'm getting CRUSHED by some awful players.

Yes, I mean crushed like I 3bet with AJ and opponent calls with 5 3. Board comes A 4 9 rainbow. I bet, he calls and the turn is a J (completing the rainbow). I c/r the turn huge and he calls. River is a 2. I shove and he snaps with none other than a gutshot straight.

I really hate complaining about shit like this because obviously downswings and suckouts happen to everyone. Last week I built my roll up to 18k combined on Stars and Tilt just playing .5/1nl HU and 1/2nl HU. Down to 9k between both sites. Sick downswing
