Im not very happy with january my results were pretty shit tbh. Im not happy with the way Iv played or with my lifestyle.
I havent really got on to my timetable however I have started attending a few of my lectures and eating fairly healthily until this past week. I didnt have fast food once in january, actually I had a dominoes one night and we've been cooking pretty decent meals most nights.
I actually attended a footbal match although I didnt play. Thats as far as Iv got with exercise, Havent joined a gym yet. My housemate wants to start boxing and he actually follows through when he gets ideas like that so I think ill do that with him as it shoud be a good laugh and Id love to knock him the f**k out lol.
Online I played ~30k hands at 50NL all 6max and went from winning 17Bi to -6. I thought I was running AK into AA alot AIPF yet havent seen many regs stacking off in the same manner, so maybe im overplaying it preflop? Guess I should start watching more vids. I also feel like Im struggling to play pocket pairs . Live I would just flat call to try and spike a set in a multiway flop. Im not not sure I like the idea of opening with a PSB b/c then the blinds dont get caught up with their junk. When I get RR I dont like surrendering the hand post flop as its 50/50 as to whether they have a bigger pair or have missed.
I havent been watching many vids this month, but are there any that you could recomend that go into more detail about PP's postflop?
I was 8 tabling for about 20k hands and wasnt taking full advantage of the HUD's and habbits of different players. When I dropped down to 4 tables I started to kill it again but 4 tabling 50nl wont get me anywhere near the amount of ipoints I need to get an irish open package so I started table selecting on 200nl and inevitably variance has kicked me in the crotch again. set into set vs a guy whos losing over a $/hand over 30k hands.. then flopping 2 pair vs flopped strts against the same fish on 2 tables simultaneously
I think i will continue on 200nl even though im so underrolled for it b/c it seems a lot looser than 50NL which seems to be full of grinders trying to step up. I dont think real people who work sit down and load up a couple of 50NL tables as the money doesnt really mean anything. 1/2 is more like the stakes people play live and Iv found a couple of absolute droolers on 200nl.
I feel like my head has been fried and that im on constant tilt right now. I very aggrevated when I lose a pot and havent really enjoyed playing. which means that I am on super super tilt as I rarely get annoyed by beats I just shrug em off and say nh. which brings me to live games
I cashed out over £5000 from 1/1 and 1/2 games however im only 1k up. Iv had some real retarded nights. The night after my inspection I did ~1400 just getting it in pre in 6cardPLO then the next night i drooled ~500 on 1/1 texas. If I had been using my 2BI rule I would have saved at least 2.5k in january and 800 so far this month.
One hand that really annoyed me was this: I cant remeber the hand! My recall used to be amazing. I would come home and go through every pot to see how I could play it better remembering every bet size and everyones manerisms.
I basically had K2d the board was 8high with 2hearts 2 diamonds on turn and I bet a girl flats me as does a pisshead called ben. River is a brick and i VBB £22 and she tanks and calls. Now I only bet b/c I know bens game inside out and I think has missed a straight draw and I sense weakness and reraise. I figure that maggie isnt good enought to figure this out and will fold her pair meaning that my K high wins.
Ben tanks for about 5 minutes. Im not even lying it was f**cking ages. So long that some people had got up and walked off and everyone else was chatting about other things, including myself. He finally shoves and I mishappedly insta muck realising what iv done just after! He rolls over 9 high or osme garbage like that and it ultra tilts me. Ive had 2hands with him before that have been so sick.

1 I called him pre w/ 910o b/c he had been making stupid raises with small cards pre and I call 2 barrels w/ 10 high thinking he has a low gutshot draw. River is a 4 and out of frustraion I set him in for his last £50 into a ~300 pot. He hero calls with 94 for one pair and bangs on about how greata call it was missing the point that I called him down w/ 10high. My ego basically cost me the pot hear. I should shove the turn and just take it down but I wanted to be cocky and check call his river bet with 10high when the brick lands on the river. I wanted to see any card other than a 4 or 5 and was ridicilously disgusted when a 4 dropped.
2. I have 97 for no pair no draw on the flop and I check to him. He bets £20 I think hes weak and raise another 60. He thinks and calls. O nthe turn I ship and he goes " ah rob Iv picked up a gutshot now and have to call." he rolls over 72o and misses leaving 9 high to scoop the pot.

I then didnt play for the rest of the week and then lost 1100 on following tuesday. This was the 104 v QQ night and then lost ~2k pot in 6card doubleflop plo.
I play every night after that and win ~ 400 each night and go down the casino after a very frustratiing saturday night online. Qualifier for the irish deepstack 10packages 20 left. Which reminds me I want ed to blog this a week ago. I min cash in the 100 deepstack after runnign 10s in to AA from sb after a button raise into BB's AA.

Im pretty certain its a cooler but I was really unhappy with it at the time, when he flatted my raise on the flop I thought that was uber strong. Then he shoves turn with no fold equity and a player behind.

I hadnt played a hand for about 6levels and the last one I was going to play was J7spades fro mthe BB when I was getting insane odds to call a minraise but opted to fold and would flop 2 pair and win a big pot..
Anyway after sitting at 200nl for a quick 90mins I was gifted about 4BI when vicky got back from her friends so I sat out. I fire up again about 8pm and get slapped with ugly situations and lose all the money id be gifted earlier. Having had enough of online after busting 14th in the 100 (10s v aa) I decide to head down the casino about 3/4am to see if the ponds full of fish. It doesnt look great but I sit anyway. about 3 hands in some pissed guysjoin the table and play very well considering they are blatently coked off their heads then eventually do it all +more. one of them is now sat wiith ~800 and theres a nother guy who is a massive whale who had ~500. I winning 400 at 6am I want to leave as im not running very well vs the drunk. everytime I hit he had better and its impossible to bluff him and were 5handed. Iflopped a strt and top pair turns into runner full house. Iring my housemate about 9am to tell him about the situation and he get down pronto. The whale then hit every flop. it was sick. I only won when I bluffed him off pots never seen anyone hit so many flops. from 7am thru til midday he won every pot unless he folded the best hand. The drunk gets stacked (he called £50 on river with 8high to see whales cards) and it me slav and the whale. we change to 5/5 plo (10straddle usually 20)as we cant hit a flop 3 handed. He cbets all overpairs and I chk call him when I flop idiot strt 54 on 678dd turn is a 7 and I chk pot him. So Iv now been playing for 18hrs and been awake for 30+ so I play the donkament for £20 before going home. Open shove aq and get snapped off by q6 for 1500 on 50/100 he hits flush so gg and gn -800.

Now Id organised a 300 sit down for monday 1st, but no one had got back to me. anyway its filled up nicely and a few ppl and walked in and decided to play which was a dream. 1st hand KK 1/2 button make it £15 and I know he skint and not messing around ao i make it 50 more. indian boy cold calls me. ace on flop gg me you bastrd ace hugger. Slav has been making it 26ish ontop of the staddles and I know he does it with low junk if it buys him the button. flop comes AJ10cc and its chkd round and slav makes it £75. marco think for ages and calls. At this point I put marco on KJ/KT/QJ/QT and feel that shipping is the right move. This was for the last of my live roll. I have K2hh. Slav and I have an agreement where we dont run bigbluffs on each other. I fold. slav jams a blank turn and take the pot. That has been annoying me all week, what the point in seeing these opportunities and not taking them even if it is for the last of my money? last night I dropped 1k playing dc. I played like a nob with a few hundo playing blind but I miss every draw and last hand i lose 500 pot with KKQ108x in hilow. Johns (cann) on tilt and repots it to 75 pre I call thinking everyone had low cards it drop QdJ8d turn is 2h giving me Khigh FD w/ OESD +2pair. I ship he tilt calls with J23457 and hit a 2 to scoop. I was going to go to nottingham this wknd but i feel a little depressed right now to go and play for rent money.
Its valentines day next wknd so that cost me at least a couple hundo, theres a 200 comp aswell, the wknd after is budapest ( I havent booked flights they are now 100more expensive) so thats at least another 250minimum. then its walsall the week after and that another 1k to play all the sides if i dont cash/ pull it back in cashgames. I cant play the m/e b/c I want to go skiing from the 27th-6th to see ash in italy which will be anoth 350ish Iv also rinsed my credit card so I need to pay that back, I could cash out online to cover that though if need be unless I do it all over the wknd.
So i need about 2.5k for all these outings (inc700 for my card)
thats basically my feburary. march I want to go to london and then irish open so i need to get dollar together for that then whisstler in arpil. I canT keep playing the way I am if i want to make all this happen.
