whilst writing this KQ shoves into my AA and flop comes 22Q Q. then same guy shoves QJ into AK and flops strt. Iv been one outed twice today and flopped 1044 with 10s and ended up losing to AQ. What a sh*t weekend. (sorry had to vent that, damn donkaments)
Firstly I should have gone to budapest for the weekend. being a gambler I waited to see if the flights would go back down as Im a cheapass. They didnt but on friday morning I thought f*ck it and rang around to get a lift to the airport, get home from uni to buy tickets and a msg pops up saying youve gotta check in online 4hours before flight so that thwarted that.

I dropped my laptop on the floor* a few months ago and its been pretty sketchy since as the screen would flicker every now and then, well I think its finally had it so no HM for me until its fixed. which is quite annoying as I cant show the sickness thats happedned to me this wknd. Iv had some absolute stinkers! I also called a guy down with J high when i missed an OE and FD on a 3c5c6sQs6c board. he had 78 and commented "did you really just call me with jack high" to which I replied "owned". To which FTP replied with giving me underset with 33 on 345 which was nice.

*Fell down stairs with it when blind drunk much to the amusement of one of my housemates.

On thurday night I played a home game which got out of hand by 4am. I grinded my 400 for a few hours and when wining a bit I scooped a 2.3k pot in double flop when my nut strt held and 2nd NFD +GS hit the off suit 6 on other board (FD was good). (actually someone else had the JQ strt so I won 3/4)I sit on it not gambling until I pick up NFD w/ GS and complete wrap on a rainbow. biggest AI is ~550 so I only have to beat marco on one board to get most of my ££ back. I turn strt and he hit runner flush. I brick the NFD with TP and 5 kickers v the mighty 2pair of 56. Then I take a flip with marco for 1k. Im an idiot. I dont need to gamble with him, I had AK10988 tripple suited in DBL flop and He repots to ~350. I tank and flat. flop comes AKx 2hearts and 223os.He ships and obv has found AA. I think part of the reason I gambled was b/c it was all profit but im an idiot and got greedy. Just like in garys club where I called 3.3k with a non nut hand b/c it was profit. I leave winning ~400 and extremely annoyed. I should have just played straight thru to my seminar at 9am b/c a lot of money just got pulled up to the table as a few tighter players had busted and the looser, albeit better players took their seats, and I had pretty great position on the action and wasnt in deep.

On friday night Id agreed do sell 20% of myself for a dozen comps. I didnt cash in one! WTF!
Good news is iv confirmed deets for walsall and am in the 300/250PLO/1k m/e and any other smaller sides if i want. With the view of this being in place for the rest of the tour/year. Im remaining sceptical until im actually bought in though.

As well as this I played about 55 qualifiers for ftops events a few 26's/55's/75's and bubbled a redicilous amount of them due 3 outers or lost races. only hand i lost my rag with was K6 on the button where I called a shove and hit the 6 LOL.
By the end of the night the beats had started to affect me but I managed to bink 5th place in the turbo fiddy for ~1500 to put me up a couple of bucks.

saturday I crawl outa bed and start banging out the satties to the 2.5k. I only bink 2seats. then my housemate comes in and annoys the fuck out me! why arent you doing washing up blah blah blah, erm cus im playing 2.5k event f*ck off. ok give me my laptop back then.... very very tilting. but I shouldnt be a c*nt as I am using his laptop and hes probably pretty board. I keep my rag with him but it really fkin p*ssed me off.

I could ship here but think naaa small ball. turn 10 river brick I pay his VB off b/c I think he either had set or air and might be value bet bluffing. top set wins. Then my AA get outflopped by 57 (567.8) and I brick the 4689A outs to crash out early.
$322 100k gtd bad play. I hero all with A high when I miss my FD. then put the rest in 88 v KK. I used to play so cautiously in comps not wanting to race esp if I was only racing at BEST! what happened to the days where I pass QQ and wait for better spots?

I played a hell of a lot more comps than these and by the end id just had enough.
the PLO HU was a joke. I crushed the first guy. then kept getting the 2nd guy down to 500 and couldnt finish the job, he kept sucking out and final hand I had bottompair with complete wrap and FD v his NFD and he couldnt hit his 3 or 7 as the filled my wrap. he hit A sigh. and he was awful, he called me with the 10 on a 102226 board LOL. I also brought slav into the m/e and he amassed a 50k stack but busted ak into 88 for 80k pot with 1k ppl left. was looking forward to a deep run in that oh well.
Im down about $400 for the wknd on FTP inc staking and £400 on stars which is a joke as Iv cashed about 6-7k in tournament dollars.


I have been smashing the MTTs this month, and barely played 5 sessions of cash. Im going to be playing live for the rest of the forthcoming week and I need to reread my goals for the year and focus on what I want to do, but playing well over 100MTTs in a weekend isnt something im going to be repeating anytime soon especially with no trophy binkage to round it off.
