That would be I poker live which happened last weekend.
88 online qualifiers and 14 buyins for €700+70 I was one of the lucky 88
I came third for €10584.

When I got to Prague I found out the tournament was 30k starting stack and 30min blinds... Read that it was 50k and 1hr online oh well... Fortunately the standard was so awful that structure was good enough to be very comfortably chipped for the first 16 levels. After my second table got broke I had ~100k on 300/600 and got moved to what was easily the toughest table out of the 8 remaining and looked like it wouldn't get broken until the final which ended up being the case.

3 to my right was a young German guy with 100k and 3 to my left was some young (dunno what nationality) guy wearing a Titan sponsored pro logo with 100k. Anyway this Titan pro was pretty nitty and probably just a bum hunter as he never really did anything out of line and made an awful bet call with a low flush vs the German kid.

Down to the last two tables I passed up what I felt what a pretty huge spot, but my friend who is a pretty huge live tournament beast says otherwise... German raises to 2x from utg+1 I call QJo from btn as the big blind was pretty fishy and would 100% defend and after an initial raising war myself and the German had a sort of silent understanding not to go into mutually assured destruction with one another as we were clearly the best two players on the table/in the tournament.

The flop comes 888 the bb checks the German makes it 16k (2/4k) I flat the bb raises to 50k leaving 110k behind the German flats...

The German hasn't played with the bb before but on my second table his standard open was 3x (sign of a bad player IMO) and hIs cbets were too large aswell, I also saw him call a 22k shove with a flush draw on 200/400 so he's pretty spewy.

Now I think the bb never has the 8 here and the German probably feels like this is the case and is floating to reasses on the turn. If the bb does have an 8 (p<0.05) and calls my shove here I still have 135k left. I feel that if I do shove the German gives me credit for 99+ and folds as neither of us have committed chips without a hand for the last 6 hours. He obviously could have an 8 and I'm dead as he has me covered by 160k but that makes up such a small part of possible holdings I think it's less likely than the bb having it.

I tank for at least 90 seconds before deciding to wait for a better spot because I have a big edge on the remaining field. 12 ppl get paid 1.9k minimum and I'm skint. If I was rolled I think I take this spot as I'm aiming to end the day on at least final table average of 300k, there's two levels left and I want to abuse the bubble.

The bb shoves the turn the Germans head explodes and is talking like he has ak which he does and calls the 110k to be disgusted by the BBs 66's which hold.

With 16 left and 1 level remaining we all agree to play down to the money or another 3 levels. I lose a few pots and finally get moved to the soft table (bink) with 12bb's so can't really do anything other than wait for a spot.

I'm have immediate position on the chip leader who is also pretty bad based on his play on my second table so I'm pretty confident of a double up being imminent.

After two rounds I open ATss utg+1 and the bb defends 10k out his 140 with J9o flop comes 966ss and he shoves I call and a spade hits the river. That was the first time I'd been at risk all tournament.

Now I'm on 260ish and it's game on. I knock the same guy out a few hands later and were on the bubble. I open 88 and get shoved on by a pretty tight player who's the shortstack I opt to fold with 2-1 odds as I want to keep the bubble going. I open k9o utg vs the bb big stack who always defends, he chk calls two streets on 3379ddd board and puts in a big bet on the river, he's a pretty friendly guy and we've been conversing throughout the tournament so I ask him if he'll show me to try and get a read based off previous pots. The other table is now stood around watching as well as the tournament director, the bb hesitates and says yes but it was difficult to gauge his confidence so I say you're not gonna show me a bluff are you to make sure im right at which point the TD blurts out some comment like Huhuhuh come on now theres no cameras and I'm thinking dude wtf!? I call he shows me a missed Ad draw.

Unfortunately I lose 3 decent sized pots on the bubble and am down to 250k at the end of the day so prolonging the bubble backfired

the final table was just LOL I'll edit this later I've gotta shoot off
